* 路16:1 耶稣又对门徒说：“有一个财主的管家，别人向他主人告他浪费主人的财物。

*And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

* 路16:2 主人叫他来，对他说：‘我听见你这事怎么样呢？把你所经管的交代明白，因你不能再作我的管家。’

*And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

* 路16:3 那管家心里说：‘主人辞我，不用我再作管家，我将来做什么？锄地呢？无力；讨饭呢？怕羞。

*Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
§8
* 路16:4 我知道怎么行，好叫人在我不作管家之后，接我到他们家里去。’
§9
*I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

* 路16:5 于是把欠他主人债的，一个一个的叫了来，问头一个说：‘你欠我主人多少？’

*So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?

* 路16:6 他说：‘一百篓（每篓约五十斤）油。’管家说：‘拿你的账，快坐下，写五十。’

*And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

* 路16:7 又问一个说：‘你欠多少？’他说：‘一百石麦子。’管家说：‘拿你的账，写八十。’

*Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.

* 路16:8 主人就夸奖这不义的管家做事聪明；因为今世之子，在世事之上，较比光明之子更加聪明。

*And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

* 路16:9 我又告诉你们，要藉着那不义的钱财结交朋友，到了钱财无用的时候，他们可以接你们到永存的帐幕里去。

*And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

* 路16:10 人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义，在大事上也不义。

*He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
§22
* 路16:11 倘若你们在不义的钱财上不忠心，谁还把那真实的钱财托付你们呢？

*If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

* 路16:12 倘若你们在别人的东西上不忠心，谁还把你们自己的东西给你们呢？

*And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

* 路16:13 一个仆人不能事奉两个主；不是恶这个爱那个，就是重这个轻那个。你们不能又事奉上帝，又事奉玛门。”

*No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

*And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

* 路16:15 耶稣对他们说：“你们是在人面前自称为义的，你们的心，上帝却知道；因为人所尊贵的，是上帝看为可憎恶的。

*And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

* 路16:16 律法和先知到约翰为止，从此上帝国的福音传开了，人人努力要进去。

*The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

* 路16:17 天地废去较比律法的一点一画落空还容易。

*And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

* 路16:18 凡休妻另娶的就是犯奸淫；娶被休之妻的也是犯奸淫。”

*Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

* 路16:19 有一个财主穿着紫色袍和细麻布衣服，天天奢华宴乐。

*There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

* 路16:20 又有一个讨饭的，名叫拉撒路，浑身生疮，被人放在财主门口，

*And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
§44
* 路16:21 要得财主桌子上掉下来的零碎充饥；并且狗来舔他的疮。
§45
*And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
§46
* 路16:22 后来那讨饭的死了，被天使带去放在亚伯拉罕的怀里。财主也死了，并且埋葬了。
§47
*And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

* 路16:23 他在阴间受痛苦，举目远远的望见亚伯拉罕，又望见拉撒路在他怀里，

*And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

* 路16:24 就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，可怜我吧！打发拉撒路来，用指头尖蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头；因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦。’

*And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

* 路16:25 亚伯拉罕说：‘儿啊，你该回想你生前享过福，拉撒路也受过苦；如今他在这里得安慰，你倒受痛苦。

*But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

* 路16:26 不但这样，并且在你我之间，有深渊限定，以致人要从这边过到你们那边是不能的；要从那边过到我们这边也是不能的。’

*And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

* 路16:27 财主说：‘我祖啊！既是这样，求你打发拉撒路到我父家去；

*Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
§58
* 路16:28 因为我还有五个弟兄，他可以对他们作见证，免得他们也来到这痛苦的地方。’
§59
*For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
§60
* 路16:29 亚伯拉罕说：‘他们有摩西和先知的话可以听从。’
§61
*Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
§62
* 路16:30 他说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，不是的，若有一个从死里复活的，到他们那里去的，他们必要悔改。’
§63
*And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
§64
* 路16:31 亚伯拉罕说：‘若不听从摩西和先知的话，就是有一个从死里复活的，他们也是不听劝。’”

*And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
