*The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

*An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

* 箴21:5 殷勤筹划的，足致丰裕；行事急躁的，都必缺乏。

*The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

*The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

*The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

*The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.

*The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

* 箴21:11 亵慢的人受刑罚，愚蒙的人就得智慧；智慧人受训诲，便得知识。

*When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

*The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

*Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

*A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

*It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

*The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

* 箴21:17 爱宴乐的，必致穷乏；好酒，爱膏油的，必不富足。

*He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

* 箴21:18 恶人作了义人的赎价；奸诈人代替正直人。

*The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

* 箴21:19 宁可住在旷野，不与争吵使气的妇人同住。

*It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

* 箴21:20 智慧人家中积蓄宝物膏油；愚昧人随得来随吞下。

*There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

* 箴21:21 追求公义仁慈的，就寻得生命、公义，和尊荣。

*He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

* 箴21:22 智慧人爬上勇士的城墙，倾覆他所倚靠的坚垒。

*A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

* 箴21:23 谨守口与舌的，就保守自己免受灾难。

*Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

* 箴21:24 心骄气傲的人名叫亵慢；他行事狂妄，都出于骄傲。

*Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

* 箴21:25 懒惰人的心愿将他杀害，因为他手不肯做工。

*The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

* 箴21:26 有终日贪得无厌的；义人施舍而不吝惜。

*He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

* 箴21:27 恶人的祭物是可憎的；何况他存恶意来献呢？

*The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

* 箴21:28 作假见证的必灭亡；惟有听真情而言的，其言长存。

*A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.

* 箴21:29 恶人脸无羞耻；正直人行事坚定。

*A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.

* 箴21:30 没有人能以智慧、聪明、谋略敌挡耶和华。
§60
*There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
§61
* 箴21:31 马是为打仗之日预备的；得胜乃在乎耶和华。
§62
*The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
