*A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

*A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

*The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

*Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

*Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

*Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

*A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

* 箴15:19 懒惰人的道像荆棘的篱笆；正直人的路是平坦的大道。

*The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.

*A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.

*The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

*The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.

* 箴15:26 恶谋为耶和华所憎恶；良言乃为纯净。

*The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

* 箴15:27 贪恋财利的，扰害己家；恨恶贿赂的，必得存活。

*He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

* 箴15:28 义人的心，思量如何回答；恶人的口吐出恶言。

*The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

* 箴15:29 耶和华远离恶人，却听义人的祷告。

*The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

* 箴15:30 眼有光，使心喜乐；好信息，使骨滋润。

*The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.

* 箴15:31 听从生命责备的，必常在智慧人中。

*The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.

* 箴15:32 弃绝管教的，轻看自己的生命；听从责备的，却得智慧。

*He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

* 箴15:33 敬畏耶和华是智慧的训诲；尊荣以前，必有谦卑。

*The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
