* 所罗门的箴言
§2 * 箴10:1 所罗门的箴言:智慧之子使父亲欢乐;愚昧之子叫母亲担忧。
§3 *The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
§4 * 箴10:2 不义之财毫无益处;惟有公义能救人脱离死亡。
§5 *Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
§6 * 箴10:3 耶和华不使义人受饥饿;恶人所欲的,他必推开。
§7 *The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
§8 * 箴10:4 手懒的,要受贫穷;手勤的,却要富足。
§9 *He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
§10 * 箴10:5 夏天聚敛的,是智慧之子;收割时沉睡的,是贻羞之子。
§11 *He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
§12 * 箴10:6 福祉临到义人的头;强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。
§13 *Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
§14 * 箴10:7 义人的纪念被称赞;恶人的名字必朽烂。
§15 *The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
§16 * 箴10:8 心中智慧的,必受命令;口里愚妄的,必致倾倒。
§17 *The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
§18 * 箴10:9 行正直路的,步步安稳;走弯曲道的,必致败露。
§19 *He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
§20 * 箴10:10 以眼传神的,使人忧患;口里愚妄的,必致倾倒。
§21 *He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
§22 * 箴10:11 义人的口是生命的泉源;强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。
§23 *The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
§24 * 箴10:12 恨能挑启争端;爱能遮掩一切过错。
§25 *Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
§26 * 箴10:13 明哲人嘴里有智慧;无知人背上受刑杖。
§27 *In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.
§28 * 箴10:14 智慧人积存知识;愚妄人的口速致败坏。
§29 *Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.
§30 * 箴10:15 富户的财物是他的坚城;穷人的贫乏是他的败坏。
§31 *The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
§32 * 箴10:16 义人的勤劳致生;恶人的进项致死(死:原文作罪)。
§33 *The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
§34 * 箴10:17 谨守训诲的,乃在生命的道上;违弃责备的,便失迷了路。
§35 *He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
§36 * 箴10:18 隐藏怨恨的,有说谎的嘴;口出谗谤的,是愚妄的人。
§37 *He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
§38 * 箴10:19 多言多语难免有过;禁止嘴唇是有智慧。
§39 *In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
§40 * 箴10:20 义人的舌乃似高银;恶人的心所值无几。
§41 *The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
§42 * 箴10:21 义人的口教养多人;愚昧人因无知而死亡。
§43 *The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
§44 * 箴10:22 耶和华所赐的福使人富足,并不加上忧虑。
§45 *The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
§46 * 箴10:23 愚妄人以行恶为戏耍;明哲人却以智慧为乐。
§47 *It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
§48 * 箴10:24 恶人所怕的,必临到他;义人所愿的,必蒙应允。
§49 *The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
§50 * 箴10:25 暴风一过,恶人归于无有;义人的根基却是永久。
§51 *As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
§52 * 箴10:26 懒惰人叫差他的人如醋倒牙,如烟薰目。
§53 *As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
§54 * 箴10:27 敬畏耶和华使人日子加多;但恶人的年岁必被减少。
§55 *The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
§56 * 箴10:28 义人的盼望必得喜乐;恶人的指望必至灭没。
§57 *The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
§58 * 箴10:29 耶和华的道是正直人的保障,却成了作孽人的败坏。
§59 *The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
§60 * 箴10:30 义人永不挪移;恶人不得住在地上。
§61 *The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
§62 * 箴10:31 义人的口滋生智慧;乖谬的舌必被割断。
§63 *The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
§64 * 箴10:32 义人的嘴能令人喜悦;恶人的口说乖谬的话。
§65 *The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
