* 箴10:1 所罗门的箴言:智慧之子使父亲欢乐;愚昧之子叫母亲担忧。

*The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

* 箴10:2 不义之财毫无益处;惟有公义能救人脱离死亡。

*Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

* 箴10:3 耶和华不使义人受饥饿;恶人所欲的,他必推开。

*The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

* 箴10:4 手懒的,要受贫穷;手勤的,却要富足。

*He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

* 箴10:5 夏天聚敛的,是智慧之子;收割时沉睡的,是贻羞之子。

*He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

*He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.

*The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

*He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

* 箴10:19 多言多语难免有过;禁止嘴唇是有智慧。

*In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

* 箴10:20 义人的舌乃似高银;恶人的心所值无几。

*The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

*It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.

* 箴10:24 恶人所怕的,必临到他;义人所愿的,必蒙应允。

*The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

* 箴10:25 暴风一过,恶人归于无有;义人的根基却是永久。

*As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

* 箴10:26 懒惰人叫差他的人如醋倒牙,如烟薰目。

*As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.

* 箴10:27 敬畏耶和华使人日子加多;但恶人的年岁必被减少。

*The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

* 箴10:28 义人的盼望必得喜乐;恶人的指望必至灭没。

*The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

* 箴10:29 耶和华的道是正直人的保障,却成了作孽人的败坏。

*The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
§60
* 箴10:30 义人永不挪移;恶人不得住在地上。
§61
*The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

* 箴10:31 义人的口滋生智慧;乖谬的舌必被割断。

*The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

* 箴10:32 义人的嘴能令人喜悦;恶人的口说乖谬的话。

*The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
