*My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

*Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

*Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

*That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

*And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

*Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,

* 箴7:9 在黄昏，或晚上，或半夜，或黑暗之中。

*In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

* 箴7:10 看哪，有一个妇人来迎接他，是妓女的打扮，有诡诈的心思。

*And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

* 箴7:11 这妇人喧嚷，不守约束，在家里停不住脚，

*She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

* 箴7:12 有时在街市上，有时在宽阔处，或在各巷口蹲伏，

*Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)

*So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,

*I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

* 箴7:15 因此，我出来迎接你，恳切求见你的面，恰巧遇见了你。

*Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

* 箴7:16 我已经用绣花毯子和埃及线织的花纹布铺了我的床。

*I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.

* 箴7:17 我又用没药、沉香、桂皮薰了我的榻。

*I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

* 箴7:18 你来，我们可以饱享爱情，直到早晨；我们可以彼此亲爱欢乐。

*Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

* 箴7:19 因为我丈夫不在家，出门行远路；

*For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

* 箴7:20 他手拿银囊，必到月望才回家。

*He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

* 箴7:21 淫妇用许多巧言诱他随从，用谄媚的嘴逼他同行。

*With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

* 箴7:22 少年人立刻跟随她，好像牛往宰杀之地，又像愚昧人带锁链去受刑罚，

*He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

* 箴7:23 直等箭穿他的肝，如同雀鸟急入网罗，却不知是自丧己命。

*Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

* 箴7:24 众子啊，现在要听从我，留心听我口中的话。

*Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

* 箴7:25 你的心不可偏向淫妇的道，不要入她的迷途。

*Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

* 箴7:26 因为，被她伤害仆倒的不少；被她杀戮的而且甚多。

*For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
§53
* 箴7:27 她的家是在阴间之路，下到死亡之宫。
§54
*Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
