你有特权知道何为真理，因为有半个多世纪以来我们一直由上帝之灵的勉言步步引导。在这种时候，人会作出许多努力，要扰乱我们在圣所问题上的信心；但我们一定不可动摇。一颗销钉也不可从我们信心的根基上挪动。真理仍旧是真理。那些犹疑之人将陷入错谬的理论之中，最后会发现自己已不相信过去我们所拥有何为真理的证据。古老的路标必须要保留，好让我们不致迷失方向。（《信函》1906年第395号，第4页，致S.M.科布，1906年12月25日）怀爱伦著作托管委员会1981年8月22日发表于美国首都华盛顿{11MR 153.1}[1]

It is your privilege to know what is truth, because for more than half a century we have been guided step by step by the counsels of the Spirit of God. At this time many efforts will be made to unsettle our faith in the sanctuary question, but we must not waver. Not a pin is to be moved from the foundations of our faith. Truth is still truth. Those who become uncertain will drift into erroneous theories and will finally find themselves infidel in regard to the past evidence we have had of what is truth.
