* 诗44:1 上帝啊，你在古时，我们列祖的日子所行的事，我们亲耳听见了；我们的列祖也给我们述说过。

*We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.

* 诗44:2 你曾用手赶出外邦人，却栽培了我们列祖；你苦待列邦，却叫我们列祖发达。

*How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
§6
* 诗44:3 因为他们不是靠自己的刀剑得地土，也不是靠自己的膀臂得胜，乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你脸上的亮光，因为你喜悦他们。

*For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

* 诗44:4 上帝啊，你是我的王；求你出令使雅各得胜。

*Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.

* 诗44:5 我们靠你要推倒我们的敌人，靠你的名要践踏那起来攻击我们的人。

*Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.

* 诗44:6 因为，我必不靠我的弓；我的刀也不能使我得胜。

*For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

* 诗44:7 惟你救了我们脱离敌人，使恨我们的人羞愧。

*But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.

* 诗44:8 我们终日因上帝夸耀，还要永远称谢你的名。（细拉）

*In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

* 诗44:9 但如今你丢弃了我们，使我们受辱，不和我们的军兵同去。

*But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
§20
* 诗44:10 你使我们向敌人转身退后；那恨我们的人任意抢夺。
§21
*Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.

* 诗44:11 你使我们当作快要被吃的羊，把我们分散在列邦中。

*Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.

* 诗44:12 你卖了你的子民也不赚利，所得的价值并不加添你的资财。

*Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.

* 诗44:13 你使我们受邻国的羞辱，被四围的人嗤笑讥刺。

*Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.

* 诗44:14 你使我们在列邦中作了笑谈，使众民向我们摇头。

*Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.

* 诗44:15 我的凌辱终日在我面前，我脸上的羞愧将我遮蔽，

*My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,

* 诗44:16 都因那辱骂毁谤人的声音，又因仇敌和报仇人的缘故。

*For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.

* 诗44:17 这都临到我们身上，我们却没有忘记你，也没有违背你的约。

*All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.

* 诗44:18 我们的心没有退后；我们的脚也没有偏离你的路。

*Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;

* 诗44:19 你在野狗之处压伤我们，用死荫遮蔽我们。

*Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

* 诗44:20 倘若我们忘了上帝的名，或向别神举手，

*If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

* 诗44:21 上帝岂不鉴察这事吗？因为他晓得人心里的隐秘。

*Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

* 诗44:22 我们为你的缘故终日被杀；人看我们如将宰的羊。
§45
*Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

* 诗44:23 主啊，求你睡醒，为何尽睡呢？求你兴起，不要永远丢弃我们。

*Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.

* 诗44:24 你为何掩面，不顾我们所遭的苦难和所受的欺压？

*Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

* 诗44:25 我们的性命伏于尘土；我们的肚腹紧贴地面。

*For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.

* 诗44:26 求你起来帮助我们！凭你的慈爱救赎我们！

*Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake.
