* 诗39:1 我曾说：我要谨慎我的言行，免得我舌头犯罪；恶人在我面前的时候，我要用嚼环勒住我的口。

*I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

* 诗39:2 我默然无声，连好话也不出口；我的愁苦就发动了，

*I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

* 诗39:3 我的心在我里面发热。我默想的时候，火就烧起，我便用舌头说话。

*My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,

* 诗39:4 耶和华啊，求你叫我晓得我身之终！我的寿数几何？叫我知道我的生命不长！

*LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.

* 诗39:5 你使我的年日窄如手掌；我一生的年数，在你面前如同无有。各人最稳妥的时候，真是全然虚幻。（细拉）

*Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

* 诗39:6 世人行动实系幻影。他们忙乱，真是枉然；积蓄财宝，不知将来有谁收取。

*Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

* 诗39:7 主啊，如今我等什么呢？我的指望在乎你！

*And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

* 诗39:8 求你救我脱离一切的过犯，不要使我受愚顽人的羞辱。

*Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

* 诗39:9 因我所遭遇的是出于你，我就默然不语。

*I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it.

* 诗39:10 求你把你的责罚从我身上免去；因你手的责打，我便消灭。

*Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.

* 诗39:11 你因人的罪恶惩罚他的时候，叫他的笑容消灭（的笑容：或作所喜爱的），如衣被虫所咬。世人真是虚幻！（细拉）

*When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

* 诗39:12 耶和华啊，求你听我的祷告，留心听我的呼求！我流泪，求你不要静默无声！因为我在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，像我列祖一般。

*Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

* 诗39:13 求你宽容我，使我在去而不返之先可以力量复原。
