*Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

* 诗2:2 世上的君王一齐起来，臣宰一同商议，要敌挡耶和华并他的受膏者，

*The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

* 诗2:3 说：我们要挣开他们的捆绑，脱去他们的绳索。

*Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
§7
* 诗2:4 那坐在天上的必发笑；主必嗤笑他们。

*He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

* 诗2:5 那时，他要在怒中责备他们，在烈怒中惊吓他们，

*Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

* 诗2:6 说：我已经立我的君在锡安我的圣山上了。

*Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

*I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

* 诗2:8 你求我，我就将列国赐你为基业，将地极赐你为田产。

*Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

* 诗2:9 你必用铁杖打破他们；你必将他们如同窑匠的瓦器摔碎。

*Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

* 诗2:10 现在，你们君王应当省悟！你们世上的审判官该受管教！

*Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

* 诗2:11 当存畏惧事奉耶和华，又当存战兢而快乐。

*Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
§23
* 诗2:12 当以嘴亲子，恐怕他发怒，你们便在道中灭亡，因为他的怒气快要发作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。
§24
*Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
