* 伯18:2 你寻索言语要到几时呢？你可以揣摩思想，然后我们就说话。

*How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

* 伯18:3 我们为何算为畜生，在你眼中看作污秽呢？

*Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?

* 伯18:4 你这恼怒将自己撕裂的，难道大地为你见弃、磐石挪开原处吗？

*He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?

* 伯18:5 恶人的亮光必要熄灭；他的火焰必不照耀。

*Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

* 伯18:6 他帐棚中的亮光要变为黑暗；他以上的灯也必熄灭。

*The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

* 伯18:7 他坚强的脚步必见狭窄；自己的计谋必将他绊倒。

*The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

* 伯18:8 因为他被自己的脚陷入网中，走在缠人的网罗上。

*For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

* 伯18:9 圈套必抓住他的脚跟；机关必擒获他。

*The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.

* 伯18:10 活扣为他藏在土内；羁绊为他藏在路上。

*The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

* 伯18:11 四面的惊吓要使他害怕，并且追赶他的脚跟。

*Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
§23
* 伯18:12 他的力量必因饥饿衰败；祸患要在他旁边等候。

*His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
§25
* 伯18:13 他本身的肢体要被吞吃；死亡的长子要吞吃他的肢体。

*It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.

* 伯18:14 他要从所倚靠的帐棚被拔出来，带到惊吓的王那里。

*His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

* 伯18:15 不属他的必住在他的帐棚里；硫磺必撒在他所住之处。

*It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.

* 伯18:16 下边，他的根本要枯干；上边，他的枝子要剪除。

*His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

* 伯18:17 他的记念在地上必然灭亡；他的名字在街上也不存留。

*His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

* 伯18:18 他必从光明中被撵到黑暗里，必被赶出世界。

*He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

* 伯18:19 在本民中必无子无孙；在寄居之地也无一人存留。

*He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.

* 伯18:20 以后来的要惊奇他的日子，好像以前去的受了惊骇。

*They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
§41
* 伯18:21 不义之人的住处总是这样；此乃不认识上帝之人的地步。
§42
*Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
