第15章 上帝的印记和兽的印记
§1
第15章 上帝的印记和兽的印记
§2
Chapter 15—The Seal of God and the Mark of the Beast
§3
只有两等人Only Two Classes
§4
只能有两等人。各自要清楚地受印,要么受永生上帝的印记,要么受兽或兽像的印记。--RH 1900年1月30日. {LDE 215.1}
§5
There can be only two classes. Each party is distinctly stamped, either with the seal of the living God, or with the mark of the beast or his image.—The Review and Herald, January 30, 1900. {LDE 215.1}
§6
整个基督教界将被卷入信与不信的大冲突中。所有的人要决定站在哪一边。有些人似乎不会参加这一冲突的任何一方。他们也许看起来不是站在反对真理的一边,但是他们因着害怕丧失财产或招受责备而不愿大胆地对基督表示赞同。所有这样的人要被列入基督仇敌的行列。--RH 1893年2月7日. {LDE 215.2}
§7
In the great conflict between faith and unbelief the whole Christian world will be involved. All will take sides. Some apparently may not engage in the conflict on either side. They may not appear to take sides against the truth, but they will not come out boldly for Christ through fear of losing property or suffering reproach. All such are numbered with the enemies of Christ.—The Review and Herald, February 7, 1893. {LDE 215.2}
§8
当我们临近时日的结束时,光明之子和黑暗之子之间的划分将会越来越明显。他们将会越来越有分歧。这一差异用基督的话来说就是是否“重生”——在基督里再造,向世界死,向上帝活。这些是把属天的与属地的分开的隔墙,并且描述了那些属于世界的人与那些从中蒙召被选、上帝看为宝贵的人,两者之间的差异。--《给巴特尔克里克教会的特别证言》(Ph 155) 3 (1882). {LDE 215.3}
§9
As we near the close of time the demarcation between the children of light and the children of darkness will be more and more decided. They will be more and more at variance. This difference is expressed in the words of Christ, “born again”—created anew in Christ, dead to the world, and alive unto God. These are the walls of separation that divide the heavenly from the earthly and describe the difference between those who belong to the world and those who are chosen out of it, who are elect, precious in the sight of God.—Special Testimony to the Battle Creek Church (Ph 155), 3 (1882). {LDE 215.3}
§10
家庭成员被分开
§11
Family Members Are Separated
§12
那些曾是同一个家庭的成员要被分开。有印记盖在义人的身上。“万军之耶和华说:在我所定的日子,他们必属我,特特归我。我必怜恤他们,如同人怜恤、服侍自己的儿子”(玛3:17)。那些已经顺从上帝诫命的人将与那群在光中的圣徒们联合。他们可得权柄能到生命树那里,也能从门进城。{LDE 216.1}
§13
Those who have been members of the same family are separated. A mark is placed upon the righteous. “They shall be Mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him” [Malachi 3:17]. Those who have been obedient to God’s commandments will unite with the company of the saints in light. They shall enter in through the gates into the city, and have right to the tree of life. {LDE 216.1}
§14
“要取去一个。”他的名字要留在生命册上,而一些曾与他交往的人却要戴上永远与上帝分离的记号。--TM 234, 235 (1895). {LDE 216.2}
§15
“The one shall be taken.” His name shall stand in the book of life, while those with whom he associated shall have the mark of eternal separation from God.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 234, 235 (1895). {LDE 216.2}
§16
按我们已接受的亮光受审判
§17
Judged by the Light We Have Received
§18
许多人没有拥有我们所享有的特权,却会进入天国,较那些拥有大光却没有行在其间的人为先。许多人已经实践他们已有的最大亮光,他们会相应地受审判。--Letter 36, 1895. {LDE 216.3}
§19
Many who have not had the privileges that we have had will go into heaven before those who have had great light and who have not walked in it. Many have lived up to the best light they have had and will be judged accordingly.—Letter 36, 1895. {LDE 216.3}
§20
所有的人必须等待那指定的时候,直到警告已传到世界各地,直到充分的亮光和证据已给予每一个人。有些人拥有的亮光比其他人少,但是每一个人都要按其所得的亮光受审判。--Ms 77, 1899. {LDE 217.1}
§21
All must wait for the appointed time, until the warning shall have gone to all parts of the world, until sufficient light and evidence have been given to every soul. Some will have less light than others, but each one will be judged according to the light received.—Manuscript 77, 1899. {LDE 217.1}
§22
关于上帝的律法,我们已蒙受大光。律法是品格的标准。人们现在必需顺从律法,并要在最后的大日按照律法受审判。在那日人们要依照他们所领受的亮光而受处置。--RH 1901年1月1日. {LDE 217.2}
§23
We have been given great light in regard to God’s law. This law is the standard of character. To it man is now required to conform, and by it he will be judged in the last great day. In that day men will be dealt with according to the light they have received.—The Gospel Herald, January, 1901 (Supplement). {LDE 217.2}
§24
那些曾经领受大光却予以忽略的人,其处境比从未有过这么多特权的人更为糟糕。他们高抬自我,而非尊荣上帝。带给人类的惩罚是与他们对上帝的侮辱成正比的。--8MR 168 (1901). {LDE 217.3}
§25
Those who have had great light and have disregarded it stand in a worse position than those who have not been given so many advantages. They exalt themselves but not the Lord. The punishment inflicted on human beings will in every case be proportionate to the dishonor they have brought on God.—Manuscript Releases 8:168 (1901). {LDE 217.3}
§26
人人都要有充分的亮光,以便作有意识的决定。--GC 605 (1911年). {LDE 217.4}
§27
Everyone is to have sufficient light to make his decision intelligently.—The Great Controversy, 605 (1911). {LDE 217.4}
§28
故意的盲目无可推诿
§29
No Excuse for Willful Blindness
§30
任何人都不会因他们没有得到的亮光和知识被定罪。但是有许多人拒绝基督的使者所传给他们的真理,因为他们希望满足世俗的标准。在审判的时候,已经达到他们悟性的真理,和已经照在他们心中的亮光,会定他们的罪。--5BC 1145 (1884). {LDE 217.5}
§31
None will be condemned for not heeding light and knowledge that they never had, and they could not obtain. But many refuse to obey the truth that is presented to them by Christ’s ambassadors, because they wish to conform to the world’s standard, and the truth that has reached their understanding, the light that has shone in the soul, will condemn them in the judgment.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 5:1145 (1884). {LDE 217.5}
§32
有些人有机会听到真理,却不努力去倾听和理解,以为如果不去听,就没有责任。他们会被上帝定罪,与那些听见真理而又拒绝的人一样。明知故犯的人是无法原谅的。耶稣藉着自己的受苦舍命,已为一切无知的罪付了赎价,但故意盲目是无可救药的。{LDE 218.1}
§33
Those who have an opportunity to hear the truth and yet take no pains to hear or understand it, thinking that if they do not hear they will not be accountable, will be judged guilty before God the same as if they had heard and rejected. There will be no excuse for those who choose to go in error when they might understand what is truth. In His sufferings and death Jesus has made atonement for all sins of ignorance, but there is no provision made for willful blindness. {LDE 218.1}
§34
对于还不明白的亮光,我们是没有责任的。但我们要对所抗拒和弃绝的亮光负责。一个人不可能明白从来没有传给他的真理,所以不会因他没有得到的亮光而被定罪。--5BC 1145 (1893). {LDE 218.2}
§35
We shall not be held accountable for the light that has not reached our perception, but for that which we have resisted and refused. A man could not apprehend the truth which had never been presented to him, and therefore could not be condemned for light he had never had.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 5:1145 (1893). {LDE 218.2}
§36
实际善行的重要
§37
The Importance of Practical Benevolence
§38
末日的判决取决于我们实际的善行。基督承认每一件善行都是做在祂自己身上的。--TM 399 (1896). {LDE 218.3}
§39
The decisions of the last day turn upon our practical benevolence. Christ acknowledges every act of beneficence as done to Himself.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 400 (1896). {LDE 218.3}
§40
当万民聚集在祂面前的时候,只能有两等人。他们永远的命运要取决于他们在贫穷痛苦的人身上为祂作过什么,或没有作什么。……{LDE 218.4}
§41
When the nations are gathered before Him, there will be but two classes, and their eternal destiny will be determined by what they have done or have neglected to do for Him in the person of the poor and suffering.... {LDE 218.4}
§42
还有一些异教徒,在蒙昧无知之中敬拜上帝,从来没有人把真光传给他们。但他们并不至于灭亡。他们虽然不知道上帝明文的律法,却听见上帝在自然界中向他们说话的声音,而且作了律法所要他们作的事。他们的行为证明圣灵已经感动他们的心,他们就被承认为上帝的儿女。{LDE 218.5}
§43
Among the heathen are those who worship God ignorantly, those to whom the light is never brought by human instrumentality, yet they will not perish. Though ignorant of the written law of God, they have heard His voice speaking to them in nature, and have done the things that the law required. Their works are evidence that the Holy Spirit has touched their hearts, and they are recognized as the children of God. {LDE 218.5}
§44
在各国里和异教徒之中的那些卑微的人将来听见救主说:“这些事你们既作在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上,就是作在我身上了”。他们听了这话,该是多么惊奇而快乐啊!同时,那无穷慈爱者看见跟从祂的人用惊奇和喜乐的神情听祂赞许的话,祂的心又将感到多大的快乐啊!--DA 637,638 (1898). {LDE 219.1}
§45
How surprised and gladdened will be the lowly among the nations, and among the heathen, to hear from the lips of the Saviour, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me”! How glad will be the heart of Infinite Love as His followers look up with surprise and joy at His words of approval!—The Desire of Ages, 637, 638 (1898). {LDE 219.1}
§46
动机决定行为的性质
§47
Motive Gives Character to Actions
§48
在审判的日子,一些人会提出这一善行和那一善行作为他们应当接受报酬的理由。他们会说:“我在业务上资助年轻人。我出钱建立医院。我救济寡妇的需要,并把穷人接到我家里。”是的,但是你们的动机被自私如此玷污了,以致此举在主看来不蒙悦纳。在你们所做的一切事上,自私是显而易见的。--Ms 53, 1906. {LDE 219.2}
§49
In the day of judgment some will plead this good deed and that as a reason why they should receive consideration. They will say, “I set up young men in business. I gave money to found hospitals. I relieved the necessities of widows, and took the poor into my home.” Yes, but your motives were so defiled by selfishness that the deed was not acceptable in the sight of the Lord. In all that you did, self was brought prominently to view.—Manuscript 53, 1906. {LDE 219.2}
§50
我们的动机决定我们行为的本质,说明它是卑鄙的或是高尚的。--DA 615 (1898). {LDE 219.3}
§51
It is the motive that gives character to our acts, stamping them with ignominy or with high moral worth.—The Desire of Ages, 615 (1898). {LDE 219.3}
§52
什么是上帝的印记
§53
What the Seal of God Is
§54
上帝的子民一旦在额上盖了印,——这不是看得见的任何记号,而是在心智和属灵上坚持真理不动摇——为大摇动作好了准备,大摇动就开始了。大摇动已经开始。上帝的审判正临到地上。--4BC 1161 (1902). {LDE 219.4}
§55
Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads—it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved—just as soon as God’s people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 4:1161 (1902). {LDE 219.4}
§56
永生上帝的印记要盖在那些谨守主的安息日的人身上。--7BC 980 (1897).[这一论述和其它类似的论述,应当按照本章前面引用的段落来理解,那些段落指明上帝要求百姓只为他们所拥有的或他们可能获得的知识负责。] {LDE 220.1}
§57
The seal of the living God is placed upon those who conscientiously keep the Sabbath of the Lord.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:980 (1897). [This statement and others like it should be understood in the light of passages quoted earlier in the chapter, indicating that God holds people responsible only for the knowledge they have or which they could obtain.] {LDE 220.1}
§58
那些希望在额上有上帝印记的人,必遵守第四条诫命的安息日。--7BC 970 (1899). {LDE 220.2}
§59
Those who would have the seal of God in their foreheads must keep the Sabbath of the fourth commandment.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:970 (1899). {LDE 220.2}
§60
真正遵守安息日,是效忠上帝的标志。--7BC 981 (1899). {LDE 220.3}
§61
True observance of the Sabbath is the sign of loyalty to God.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:981 (1899). {LDE 220.3}
§62
在全部十诫中,惟有第四诫包含着那伟大的立法者、天地之创造主的印记。--6T 350 (1900). {LDE 220.4}
§63
The fourth commandment alone of all the ten contains the seal of the great Lawgiver, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.—Testimonies for the Church 6:350 (1900). {LDE 220.4}
§64
遵守主的纪念日,在伊甸园所设立的安息日,第七日的安息日,是我们对上帝的忠诚的试验。--Letter 94, 1900. {LDE 220.5}
§65
The observance of the Lord’s memorial, the Sabbath instituted in Eden, the seventh-day Sabbath, is the test of our loyalty to God.—Letter 94, 1900. {LDE 220.5}
§66
那盖在上帝每个子民身上的记号,与涂在希伯来住家门楣上的记号是一样的,都是为了保护人免遭普遍的毁灭。上帝说:“又将我的安息日赐给他们,好在我与他们中间为证据,使他们知道我耶和华是叫他们成为圣的”(结 20:12)。--7BC 969 (1900). {LDE 220.6}
§67
A mark is placed upon every one of God’s people, just as verily as a mark was placed over the doors of the Hebrew dwellings to preserve the people from the general ruin. God declares, “I gave them My sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them” [Ezekiel 20:12].—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:969 (1900). {LDE 220.6}
§68
在品格上与基督相似
§69
A Likeness to Christ in Character
§70
永生上帝的印记,只盖在那些在品格上象基督的人身上。--7BC 970 (1895). {LDE 221.1}
§71
The seal of the living God will be placed upon those only who bear a likeness to Christ in character.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:970 (1895). {LDE 221.1}
§72
那些接受永生上帝的印记,而在艰难时期得蒙保守的人,必须充分反映耶稣的形像。--EW 71 (1851). {LDE 221.2}
§73
Those who receive the seal of the living God and are protected in the time of trouble must reflect the image of Jesus fully.—Early Writings, 71 (1851). {LDE 221.2}
§74
上帝的印绝不会盖在一个不纯洁的人额上。它绝不会盖在那有野心,爱世界的人额上。它也绝不会盖在舌头惯说谎,心中有诡诈的人额上。一切受印的人都必须在上帝面前毫无瑕疵——是有资格承受天国的人。--5T 216 (1882). {LDE 221.3}
§75
The seal of God will never be placed upon the forehead of an impure man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of the ambitious, world-loving man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of men or women of false tongues or deceitful hearts. All who receive the seal must be without spot before God—candidates for heaven.—Testimonies for the Church 5:216 (1882). {LDE 221.3}
§76
爱表现在顺从上,完全的爱除去一切的惧怕。那些爱上帝的人,有上帝的印记在他们的额上,并且行上帝的工作。--SD 51 (1894). {LDE 221.4}
§77
Love is expressed in obedience, and perfect love casteth out all fear. Those who love God, have the seal of God in their foreheads, and work the works of God.—Sons and Daughters of God, 51 (1894). {LDE 221.4}
§78
那些胜过世界、肉体、和魔鬼的人,将有幸接受永生上帝的印记。--TM 445 (c. 1886). {LDE 221.5}
§79
Those that overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, will be the favored ones who shall receive the seal of the living God.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 445 (c. 1886). {LDE 221.5}
§80
我们是在用上帝所赐的全部能力,在基督里竭力达到长成的身量吗?我们是在寻求祂的丰满,不断达到越来越高的地步,努力获得祂品格的完美吗?当上帝的仆人达到这一点时,他们就要在额上接受印记。那记录的天使要说:“成了。”他们要在基督里达到完全;他们因着创造也因着救赎是属于基督的。--3SM 427 (1899). {LDE 222.1}
§81
Are we striving with all our God-given powers to reach the measure of the stature of men and women in Christ? Are we seeking for His fullness, ever reaching higher and higher, trying to attain to the perfection of His character? When God’s servants reach this point, they will be sealed in their foreheads. The recording angel will declare, “It is done.” They will be complete in Him whose they are by creation and by redemption.—Selected Messages 3:427 (1899). {LDE 222.1}
§82
在现今盖印的时期
§83
In the Sealing Time Now
§84
我看到现今关于安息日的试验从前不能临到世人,直到耶稣在圣所中供职的中保工作结束,而祂进入了第二层幔子之后;故此那些在进入至圣所的门尚未敞开之前,就是在1844年第7个月半夜呼声结束之前没有遵守真安息日而睡了的基督徒,现在是在指望中安歇的;因为他们没有受到我们在那门开了之后所领受的亮光和安息日的试验。我看到撒但正在用这个问题来试探上帝的一些百姓。因为过去有许多善良的基督徒已经靠信心得了胜利而睡了,他们并没有遵守真正的安息日,所以今日的信徒怀疑这个问题现在怎能成为对我们的一个试验。……{LDE 222.2}
§85
I saw that the present test on the Sabbath could not come until the mediation of Jesus in the holy place was finished and He had passed within the second veil; therefore Christians who fell asleep before the door was opened into the most holy, when the midnight cry was finished, at the seventh month, 1844, and who had not kept the true Sabbath, now rest in hope, for they had not the light and the test on the Sabbath which we now have since that door was opened. I saw that Satan was tempting some of God’s people on this point. Because so many good Christians have fallen asleep in the triumphs of faith and have not kept the true Sabbath, they were doubting about its being a test for us now.... {LDE 222.2}
§86
撒但现今趁此盖印的时期,正在利用种种诡计使上帝的百姓偏离现代的真理,以致信心动摇。--EW 42,43 (1851). {LDE 222.3}
§87
Satan is now using every device in this sealing time to keep the minds of God’s people from the present truth and to cause them to waver.—Early Writings, 42, 43 (1851). {LDE 222.3}
§88
我看见她[海丝汀夫人]已受了印记,将听见上帝的声音而复活,站立在地上,且与那十四万四千人在一起。我看到我们不必为她表示哀悼;她会在大艰难时期中安息。--2SM 263 (1850). {LDE 222.4}
§89
I saw that she [Mrs. Hastings] was sealed and would come up at the voice of God and stand upon the earth, and would be with the 144,000. I saw we need not mourn for her; she would rest in the time of trouble.—Selected Messages 2:263 (1850). {LDE 222.4}
§90
世上生活着一些耄耋老人,因年老而体衰。但他们相信上帝,上帝也爱他们。他们身上盖着上帝的印记,列在上帝所说“在主里面而死的人有福了”的人中间。--7BC 982 (1899). {LDE 223.1}
§91
There are living upon our earth men who have passed the age of fourscore and ten. The natural results of old age are seen in their feebleness. But they believe God, and God loves them. The seal of God is upon them, and they will be among the number of whom the Lord has said, “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.”—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:982 (1899). {LDE 223.1}
§92
啊,但愿上帝的印要印在我们身上!
§93
Oh, That God’s Seal May Be Placed Upon Us!
§94
不久,每一个上帝的儿女都要接受上帝的印记。但愿这个印记都能盖在我们的额上!当天使出去,在上帝仆人的额上盖印的时候,他会越过我们吗?想到这一点,真令人恐惧!--7BC 969,970 (1889). {LDE 223.2}
§95
In a little while every one who is a child of God will have His seal placed upon him. Oh, that it may be placed upon our foreheads! Who can endure the thought of being passed by when the angel goes forth to seal the servants of God in their foreheads?—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:969, 970 (1889). {LDE 223.2}
§96
如果真理的信徒,在这比较平静的时日,不能得自己信仰的支持,那么,在大试炼来到,出令攻击一切不拜兽像及在手和额上不受兽印记之人的时候,又有什么可以支持他们呢?这个严重的时期,距今已是不远了。上帝的子民不应软弱踌躇,乃当集中精力及勇气,应付那困难的时期。--4T 251 (1876). {LDE 223.3}
§97
If the believers in the truth are not sustained by their faith in these comparatively peaceful days, what will uphold them when the grand test comes and the decree goes forth against all those who will not worship the image of the beast and receive his mark in their foreheads or in their hands? This solemn period is not far off. Instead of becoming weak and irresolute, the people of God should be gathering strength and courage for the time of trouble.—Testimonies for the Church 4:251 (1876). {LDE 223.3}
§98
什么是兽的印记
§99
What the Mark of the Beast Is
§100
约翰蒙召看见一班人,与那些藉着遵守每周的第一日而拜兽和兽像的人截然不同。遵守第一日就是兽的印记。--TM 133 (1898). {LDE 223.4}
§101
John was called to behold a people distinct from those who worship the beast or his image by keeping the first day of the week. The observance of this day is the mark of the beast.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 133 (1898). {LDE 223.4}
§102
教皇的安息日乃是兽的印记。--Ev 234 (1899). {LDE 224.1}
§103
The mark of the beast is the papal sabbath.—Evangelism, 234 (1899). {LDE 224.1}
§104
当考验来到时,就会显明什么是兽的记号。这就是遵守星期日。--7BC 980 (1900). {LDE 224.2
§105
When the test comes, it will be clearly shown what the mark of the beast is. It is the keeping of Sunday.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:980 (1900). {LDE 224.2}
§106
上帝的证据或印记,乃表现在遵守那记念耶和华创造大工之第七日的安息日上。……兽的印记则正与此相反──乃是遵守七日的第一日。--8T 117 (1904). {LDE 224.3}
§107
The sign, or seal, of God is revealed in the observance of the seventh-day Sabbath, the Lord’s memorial of creation.... The mark of the beast is the opposite of this—the observance of the first day of the week.—Testimonies for the Church 8:117 (1904). {LDE 224.3}
§108
“它又叫众人,无论大小……都在右手上或是在额上受一个印记。”(启13:16)人们不仅在星期日不用他们的手工作,而且以他们的心思承认星期日为安息日。--《给巴特尔克里克教会的特别证言》(Ph 86) 6, 7 (1897). {LDE 224.4}
§109
“He causeth all, both small and great, ... to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads” (Revelation 13:16). Not only are men not to work with their hands on Sunday, but with their minds are they to acknowledge Sunday as the Sabbath.—Special Testimony to Battle Creek Church (Ph 86), 6, 7 (1897). {LDE 224.4}
§110
何时接受兽的印记
§111
When the Mark of the Beast Is Received
§112
现今还没有一个人接受兽的印记。--Ev 234 (1899). {LDE 224.5}
§113
No one has yet received the mark of the beast.—Evangelism, 234 (1899). {LDE 224.5}
§114
遵守星期日还不能算兽的记号,因为现在还没有发出勉强人敬拜这个伪安息日的命令。时候将到,将以这个日子作为试验,但现在还没有到。--7BC 977 (1899). {LDE 224.6}
§115
Sundaykeeping is not yet the mark of the beast, and will not be until the decree goes forth causing men to worship this idol sabbath. The time will come when this day will be the test, but that time has not come yet. The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:977 (1899). {LDE 224.6}
§116
上帝已赐给人安息日作为祂与他们之间的证据,试验他们的忠贞。那些在上帝律法的真光临到他们后仍然不顺从,并且高举人的律法过于上帝的律法者,将在我们面前的大危机中接受兽的印记。--Ev 235 (1900). {LDE 225.1}
§117
God has given men the Sabbath as a sign between Him and them as a test of their loyalty. Those who, after the light regarding God’s law comes to them, continue to disobey and exalt human laws above the law of God in the great crisis before us, will receive the mark of the beast.—Evangelism, 235 (1900). {LDE 225.1}
§118
安息日必要作为忠诚的大试验,因为它是特别引起人争辩的真理。当这最后的试验临到世人的时候,在事奉上帝和不事奉上帝的人之间,就必划清界限。{LDE 225.2}
§119
The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. {LDE 225.2}
§120
人若顺从政府的法令去守伪安息日而违犯第四诫,那就要证明他乃是忠于那反对上帝的权势,同时那依照上帝的律法遵守真安息日的人就此表明自己是效忠创造主的。在一等人接受那服从地上掌权者的记号而受“兽的印记”时;另一等人则拣选那效忠上帝权威的记号,而受了“上帝的印记”。--GC 605 (1911年) {LDE 225.3}
§121
While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other, choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of God.—The Great Controversy, 605 (1911). {LDE 225.3}
§122
强迫人遵守星期日就是试验
§123
Enforcement of Sunday Observance Is the Test
§124
在人们得到了亮光,看明第四诫的义务之前,不会有人被定罪。但及至命令发出,强力执行伪安息日之时,第三天使的信息就要警告人不要拜兽与兽像,把真与伪的界线分割得清楚明白。届时,那仍然继续犯罪的人,就要受兽的印记。--Ev 234,235 (1899). {LDE 225.4}
§125
None are condemned until they have had the light and have seen the obligation of the fourth commandment. But when the decree shall go forth enforcing the counterfeit sabbath, and the loud cry of the third angel shall warn men against the worship of the beast and his image, the line will be clearly drawn between the false and the true. Then those who still continue in transgression will receive the mark of the beast.—Evangelism, 234, 235 (1899). {LDE 225.4}
§126
但及至人要用法律来强迫人守星期日,而世人看明自己对于守真安息日的义务之后,那时凡干犯上帝的命令而顺从一种单凭罗马教的权威而制定之条例的人,就是尊敬教皇过于尊敬上帝了。他正是向罗马教致敬,也是向那执行教皇所定之法令的权力致敬。他正是拜兽和兽像了。{LDE 226.1}
§127
When Sunday observance shall be enforced by law, and the world shall be enlightened concerning the obligation of the true Sabbath, then whoever shall transgress the command of God to obey a precept which has no higher authority than that of Rome, will thereby honor popery above God. He is paying homage to Rome, and to the power which enforces the institution ordained by Rome. He is worshiping the beast and his image. {LDE 226.1}
§128
此后,人若拒绝上帝所宣布为祂权威印记的制度,而尊敬罗马教所用来标志其最高权力的制度,他们就此接受效忠罗马教的印记,也就是“兽的印记”了。惟有在这场争论明显地摆在民众之前,并要他们在守上帝的诫命与守人的法令二者选择其一之后,那些继续违背上帝律法的人就要受“兽的印记”了。--GC 449 (1911年) {LDE 226.2}
§129
As men then reject the institution which God has declared to be the sign of His authority, and honor in its stead that which Rome has chosen as the token of her supremacy, they will thereby accept the sign of allegiance to Rome—“the mark of the beast.” And it is not until the issue is thus plainly set before the people, and they are brought to choose between the commandments of God and the commandments of men, that those who continue in transgression will receive “the mark of the beast.”—The Great Controversy, 449 (1911). {LDE 226.2}
