第14章 大呼声
§2
Chapter 14—The Loud Cry
§3
上帝在各教会中都有珍宝
§4
God Has Jewels in All Churches
§5
上帝在各教会中都有珍宝,我们不应对宗教界作全盘否认。--4BC 1184 (1893). {LDE 197.1}
§6
God has jewels in all the churches, and it is not for us to make sweeping denunciation of the professed religious world.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 4:1184 (1893). {LDE 197.1}
§7
主在所有的教会中都有祂的代表。末时代考验性的特别真理还没有传给这些人,使他们折服;因此他们还没有因着拒绝亮光而与上帝脱离关系。--6T 70, 71 (1900). {LDE 197.2}
§8
The Lord has His representatives in all the churches. These persons have not had the special testing truths for these last days presented to them under circumstances that brought conviction to heart and mind; therefore they have not, by rejecting light, severed their connection with God.—Testimonies for the Church 6:70, 71 (1900). {LDE 197.2}
§9
天主教徒中有许多人是最诚挚的基督徒,他们凭着所明白的道理去行,上帝也必为他们作工。--9T 243 (1909). {LDE 197.3}
§10
Among the Catholics there are many who are most conscientious Christians and who walk in all the light that shines upon them, and God will work in their behalf.—Testimonies for the Church 9:243 (1909). {LDE 197.3}
§11
在《启示录》第十八章中,上帝呼召祂的子民从巴比伦出来。根据这节经文,上帝一定还有许多子民在巴比伦之中。试问现今基督的门徒多半是在哪些宗教团体当中呢?无疑地,他们多半是在一般信奉改正教的教会中。--GC 383 (1911年) {LDE 197.4}
§12
In the eighteenth chapter of the Revelation the people of God are called upon to come out of Babylon. According to this scripture, many of God’s people must still be in Babylon. And in what religious bodies are the greater part of the followers of Christ now to be found? Without doubt, in the various churches professing the Protestant faith.—The Great Controversy, 383 (1911). {LDE 197.4}
§13
组成巴比伦的各教会虽然因灵性的黑暗而远离了上帝,但基督的真信徒多半还是在这些团体中。--GC 390 (1911年) {LDE 198.1}
§14
Notwithstanding the spiritual darkness and alienation from God that exist in the churches which constitute Babylon, the great body of Christ’s true followers are still to be found in their communion.—The Great Controversy, 390 (1911). {LDE 198.1}
§15
巴比伦还没有完全倾倒
§16
Babylon’s Fall Not Yet Complete
§17
她“叫万民喝邪淫、大怒之酒”(启14:6-8)。这是如何应验的呢?是藉着强迫人接受伪造的安息日。--8T 94 (1904). {LDE 198.2}
§18
“She made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication” (Revelation 14:6-8). How is this done? By forcing men to accept a spurious sabbath.—Testimonies for the Church 8:94 (1904). {LDE 198.2}
§19
虽然如此,我们还不能说她“叫万民喝邪淫大怒之酒。”到此为止,她还没有使列国都这样作。……{LDE 198.3}
§20
Not yet, however, can it be said that ... “she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” She has not yet made all nations do this.... {LDE 198.3}
§21
及至各教会发展到这个地步,而教会与世俗的联合在基督教界全面实现之后,巴比伦的倾倒才能算为完全。这种变化乃是逐步发展的,所以《启示录》18:4的全面应验还在将来。--GC 389, 390 (1911年) {LDE 198.4}
§22
Not until this condition shall be reached, and the union of the church with the world shall be fully accomplished throughout Christendom, will the fall of Babylon be complete. The change is a progressive one, and the perfect fulfillment of Revelation 14:8 is yet future.—The Great Controversy, 389, 390 (1911). {LDE 198.4}
§23
什么时候她的罪恶要滔天(启18:2-5)?就是上帝的律法最后被人间的立法作废的时候。--ST 1893年6月12日. {LDE 198.5}
§24
When do her sins reach unto heaven [Revelation 18:2-5]? When the law of God is finally made void by legislation.—The Signs of the Times, June 12, 1893. {LDE 198.5}
§25
上帝最后的警告信息
§26
God’s Last Warning Message
§27
上帝已经把《启示录》14章的信息安置在预言的序列中。它们的工作不会停止,直到这世界历史的结束。--EGW88 804 (1890). {LDE 198.6}
§28
God has given the messages of Revelation 14 their place in the line of prophecy and their work is not to cease till the close of this earth’s history.—The Ellen G. White 1888 Materials, 804 (1890). {LDE 198.6}
§29
《启示录》第十八章预指将来的教会因拒绝《启示录》第十四章六至十二节的三重警告而完全呈现第二位天使所预言的状况。那时凡留在巴比伦的上帝子民要听见祂的呼召,叫他们与巴比伦断绝关系。这乃是那将要传给世界的最后信息;而且这个信息也必完成它的工作。--GC 390 (1911年) {LDE 199.1} {LDE 199.1}
§30
Revelation 18 points to the time when, as the result of rejecting the threefold warning of Revelation 14:6-12, the church will have fully reached the condition foretold by the second angel, and the people of God still in Babylon will be called upon to separate from her communion. This message is the last that will ever be given to the world.—The Great Controversy, 390 (1911). {LDE 199.1}
§31
[引用启18:1,2,4]这段经文预指一个时期,就是《启示录》第十四章第二位天使(见启14:8)所传巴比伦倾倒的警告将要重新被传扬的时候,同时还要提述自从一八四四年夏季开始传扬这信息以来,侵入巴比伦各团体中的许多腐败现象。……这些宣告要与第三位天使的信息联合起来,成为那要传给地上居民的最后警告。……{LDE 199.2}
§32
[Revelation 18:1, 2, 4, quoted.] This scripture points forward to a time when the announcement of the fall of Babylon, as made by the second angel of Revelation 14 (verse 8), is to be repeated, with the additional mention of the corruptions which have been entering the various organizations that constitute Babylon, since that message was first given, in the summer of 1844.... These announcements, uniting with the third angel’s message, constitute the final warning to be given to the inhabitants of the earth.... {LDE 199.2}
§33
巴比伦的罪恶都要暴露出来。那用政治权力来强迫人遵守教规的可怕结果;招魂术的侵入;教皇势力的潜长急进——这一切事实都要被揭露了。因了这些严重的警告,众人就要深受感动。成千上万从来没有听过这样道理的人这时就要倾听了。--GC 603, 604, 606 (1911年) {LDE 199.3}
§34
The sins of Babylon will be laid open. The fearful results of enforcing the observances of the church by civil authority, the inroads of spiritualism, the stealthy but rapid progress of the papal power—all will be unmasked. By these solemn warnings the people will be stirred. Thousands upon thousands will listen who have never heard words like these.—The Great Controversy, 603, 604, 606 (1911). {LDE 199.3}
§35
上帝的最后信息的中心
§36
The Heart of God’s Last Message
§37
有几个人写信问我,因信称义的信息是否就是第三位天使的信息,我回答说,“它确实是第三天使信息的真理。” --1SM 372 (1890). {LDE 199.4}
§38
Several have written to me, inquiring if the message of justification by faith is the third angel’s message, and I have answered, “It is the third angel’s message in verity.”—Selected Messages 1:372 (1890). {LDE 199.4}
§39
主本着祂的大怜悯,藉着瓦格纳和琼斯长老给祂的子民送来了一道极宝贵的信息。这个信息是要在世人面前更显著地高举救主,就是那为全世界的罪而献上的牺牲。这个信息提出了藉着相信那位中保而称义。它邀请人们接受基督的义。这义表现在遵守上帝的全部诫命上。{LDE 200.1}
§40
The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders [E.J.] Waggoner and [A. T.] Jones. This message was to bring more prominently before the world the uplifted Saviour, the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It presented justification through faith in the Surety; it invited the people to receive the righteousness of Christ, which is made manifest in obedience to all the commandments of God. {LDE 200.1}
§41
许多人已经看不见耶稣了。他们需要让自己的眼睛注视这位神圣之主,祂的功劳,和祂对人类不变的爱。所有的权柄都交在祂手里了,所以祂能厚赐百般恩赐给众人,将祂自己的义之无价恩赐给予无助的人类。这乃是上帝吩咐要传给世人的信息。这就是第三位天使的信息,应该大声传扬出来,同时伴随着祂圣灵的沛降。--TM 91, 92 (1895). {LDE 200.2}
§42
Many had lost sight of Jesus. They needed to have their eyes directed to His divine person, His merits, and His changeless love for the human family. All power is given into His hands, that He may dispense rich gifts unto men, imparting the priceless gift of His own righteousness to the helpless human agent. This is the message that God commanded to be given to the world. It is the third angel’s message, which is to be proclaimed with a loud voice, and attended with the outpouring of His Spirit in a large measure.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 91, 92 (1895). {LDE 200.2}
§43
基督之义的信息必要传遍天涯地极,预备主的道路。这乃是上帝的荣耀,结束了第三位天使的工作。--6T 19 (1900).{LDE 200.3}
§44
The message of Christ’s righteousness is to sound from one end of the earth to the other to prepare the way of the Lord. This is the glory of God, which closes the work of the third angel.—Testimonies for the Church 6:19 (1900). {LDE 200.3}
§45
要传给世界的最后的恩典信息,是关于上帝慈爱品德的启示。上帝的儿女应当彰显祂的荣耀。他们要在自己的生活和品格上显明上帝的恩典在他们身上的成就。--COL 415, 416 (1900). {LDE 200.4}
§46
The last message of mercy to be given to the world is a revelation of His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them.—Christ’s Object Lessons, 415, 416 (1900). {LDE 200.4}
§47
这道信息将伴随着大能
§48
The Message Will Go With Great Power
§49
当第三位天使的信息发展为大声呼喊,当大能力和荣耀伴随着最后的工作时,上帝忠心的子民必分享这荣耀。晚雨复兴和加强他们度过艰难的时期。--7BC 984 (1862). {LDE 201.1}
§50
As the third message swells to a loud cry and as great power and glory attend the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of that glory. It is the latter rain which revives and strengthens them to pass through the time of trouble.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:984 (1862). {LDE 201.1}
§51
当末期逼近时,上帝仆人们的见证会变得更加坚定、更加有力。--3SM 407 (1892). {LDE 201.2}
§52
As the end approaches, the testimonies of God’s servants will become more decided and more powerful.—Selected Messages 3:407 (1892). {LDE 201.2}
§53
这道信息(启14:9-12)包含了前面的两道信息,是大声呼喊出来的,即带着圣灵的能力。--7BC 980 (1900). {LDE 201.3}
§54
This message [Revelation 14:9-12] embraces the two preceding messages. It is represented as being given with a loud voice; that is, with the power of the Holy Spirit.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:980 (1900). {LDE 201.3}
§55
当第三位天使的信息增强为大呼声时,它的宣扬必伴随着大能力和荣耀。上帝子民的脸上必反映出天上的光辉。--7T 17 (1902). {LDE 201.4}
§56
As the third angel’s message swells into a loud cry, great power and glory will attend its proclamation. The faces of God’s people will shine with the light of heaven.—Testimonies for the Church 7:17 (1902). {LDE 201.4}
§57
在世界最后的大危机愈益迫近的时候,上帝的光必更显明亮,人必听见有最高昂最清明的声音,唱出那信心与希望之歌。--Ed 166 (1903). {LDE 201.5}
§58
Amidst the deepening shadows of earth’s last great crisis, God’s light will shine brightest, and the song of hope and trust will be heard in clearest and loftiest strains.—Education, 166 (1903). {LDE 201.5}
§59
正如《启示录》18章所预言的,那些发出最后的警告,叫人不要拜兽和兽像的人,要以极大的能力传扬第三位天使的信息。--8T 118 (1904). {LDE 201.6}
§60
As foretold in the eighteenth of Revelation, the third angel’s message is to be proclaimed with great power by those who give the final warning against the beast and his image.—Testimonies for the Church 8:118 (1904). {LDE 201.6}
§61
如同1844年的运动
§62
Like the 1844 Movement
§63
象1844年运动那样强劲有效地激动众人的能力要再度的显示出来。第三天使的信息将要发出,不是轻声的耳语,乃是洪亮伟大的声音。--5T 252 (1885). {LDE 202.1}
§64
The power which stirred the people so mightily in the 1844 movement will again be revealed. The third angel’s message will go forth, not in whispered tones, but with a loud voice.—Testimonies for the Church 5:252 (1885). {LDE 202.1}
§65
我看明,这个信息将要以大能大力结束,远超乎半夜呼声的能力。--EW 278 (1858). {LDE 202.2}
§66
I saw that this message will close with power and strength far exceeding the midnight cry.—Early Writings, 278 (1858). {LDE 202.2}
§67
如同五旬节
§68
Like the Day of Pentecost
§69
我怀着渴慕之心展望五旬节的事件以更大的能力重演。约翰说:“我看见另有一位有权柄的天使从天降下,地就因祂的荣耀发光” (启18:1)。那时就象在五旬节一样,人们将会听到真理的传播。每一个人都用自己的方言。--6BC 1055 (1886). {LDE 202.3}
§70
It is with an earnest longing that I look forward to the time when the events of the Day of Pentecost shall be repeated with even greater power than on that occasion. John says, “I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory” [Revelation 18:1]. Then, as at the Pentecostal season, the people will hear the truth spoken to them, every man in his own tongue.—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 6:1055 (1886). {LDE 202.3}
§71
我在夜间异象中,看见上帝的百姓中掀起了一场大改革运动。许多人在赞美上帝。患病的人被医好了,还有许多别的奇迹。众人都表露一种切心恳求上帝的精神,正如五旬节之前的情形。--9T 126 (1909). {LDE 202.4}
§72
In visions of the night, representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God’s people. Many were praising God. The sick were healed, and other miracles were wrought. A spirit of intercession was seen, even as was manifested before the great Day of Pentecost.—Testimonies for the Church 9:126 (1909). {LDE 202.4}
§73
在福音大工结束时,上帝能力的显现并不逊于福音开始宣传的时候。在福音开始,“早雨”沛降时所应验的预言,还要在福音结束,“晚雨”沛降时再次应验……{LDE 203.1}
§74
The great work of the gospel is not to close with less manifestation of the power of God than marked its opening. The prophecies which were fulfilled in the outpouring of the former rain at the opening of the gospel, are again to be fulfilled in the latter rain at its close.... {LDE 203.1}
§75
上帝的仆人因献身归主而脸上焕发圣洁的光辉,到处奔波,传扬那从天上来的信息。这警告要借着成千上万之人的声音传遍全球。信徒要行神迹,医治病人,并有异能奇事随着他们。--GC 611, 612 (1911年) {LDE 203.2}
§76
Servants of God, with their faces lighted up and shining with holy consecration, will hasten from place to place to proclaim the message from heaven. By thousands of voices, all over the earth, the warning will be given. Miracles will be wrought, the sick will be healed, and signs and wonders will follow the believers.—The Great Controversy, 611, 612 (1911). {LDE 203.2}
§77
上帝使用的媒介会让我们吃惊
§78
God Will Employ Agencies That Will Surprise Us
§79
让我告诉你吧,主会在这最后的工作中以一种超常的,与人的任何计划不同的方式作工。在我们中间,总有人想控制上帝的圣工,对采取的行动指手划脚,尽管这项工作是在那位加入第三位天使、把信息传给世界的天使指导之下前进的。上帝会使用表明祂亲手在掌握缰绳的方式。工人们将因祂要用来开展并完成祂公义之工的简单方法而惊奇。--TM 300 (1885). {LDE 203.3}
§80
Let me tell you that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message to be given to the world. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 300 (1885). {LDE 203.3}
§81
不要妄想你自己能为将来作何计划。总要随时随在承认是由上帝在为你掌舵。祂要利用各种合适的方法来维持,加强,并坚固祂自己的子民。--CW 71 (1895). {LDE 203.4}
§82
Do not imagine that it will be possible to lay out plans for the future. Let God be acknowledged as standing at the helm at all times and under every circumstance. He will work by means that will be suitable, and will maintain, increase, and build up His own people.—Counsels to Writers and Editors, 71 (1895). {LDE 203.4}
§83
保惠师要展现祂自己,不是按人可以划规的任何指定的、正统的方法,而是按上帝的指令——按荣耀祂自己名的意外的时机和方法。--EGW88 1478 (1896). {LDE 204.1}
§84
The Comforter is to reveal Himself, not in any specified, precise way that man may mark out, but in the order of God—in unexpected times and ways that will honor His own name.—The Ellen G. White 1888 Materials, 1478 (1896). {LDE 204.1}
§85
祂将从平民中兴起男男女女来做祂的工作,正如在古时祂呼召渔夫做祂的门徒。不久将有一场觉醒,使许多人惊奇。那些没有认识到当务之急的人将被越过,而天上的信使要与那些被称为平民之人合作,使他们适于将真理传到很多地方。--15MR 312 (1905). {LDE 204.2}
§86
He will raise up from among the common people men and women to do His work, even as of old He called fishermen to be His disciples. There will soon be an awakening that will surprise many. Those who do not realize the necessity of what is to be done will be passed by, and the heavenly messengers will work with those who are called the common people, fitting them to carry the truth to many places.—Manuscript Releases 15:312 (1905). {LDE 204.2}
§87
圣灵使工人们具有资格
§88
Laborers Qualified by the Holy Spirit
§89
在末世严肃的工作中,很少有大人物参加。……上帝在我们的时代有一番工作要做,但很少人预感到。祂要在我们中间兴起并提拔一些人。他们受教多出于圣灵的恩膏,少由于科研机构外表的训练。不应轻视或责难这些机构;它们本是上帝所命定的,但是它们只能提供外在的资格。上帝将显明祂并不依赖有学问而妄自尊大的人。--5T 80, 82 (1882). {LDE 204.3}
§90
In the last solemn work few great men will be engaged.... God will work a work in our day that but few anticipate. He will raise up and exalt among us those who are taught rather by the unction of His Spirit than by the outward training of scientific institutions. These facilities are not to be despised or condemned; they are ordained of God, but they can furnish only the exterior qualifications. God will manifest that He is not dependent on learned, self-important mortals.—Testimonies for the Church 5:80, 82 (1882). {LDE 204.3}
§91
只有那迫切寻求亮光及乐意接受圣经中上帝所显明之每一光线的人,才能得到亮光。上帝要藉着这些人显明亮光与能力,使全地因祂的荣耀发光。--5T 729 (1889). {LDE 205.1}
§92
To souls that are earnestly seeking for light and that accept with gladness every ray of divine illumination from His holy Word, to such alone light will be given. It is through these souls that God will reveal that light and power which will lighten the whole earth with His glory.—Testimonies for the Church 5:729 (1889). {LDE 205.1}
§93
所极需的乃是精神的锻炼,和心思意念的洁净。这比卓越的才能、机敏、学问更有价值。一个平凡的心智,受训听从“耶和华如此说”,较比多才多艺却不善运用的人,更有资格担任上帝的工作。--RH 1900年11月27日. {LDE 205.2}
§94
It is discipline of spirit, cleanness of heart and thought that is needed. This is of more value than brilliant talent, tact, or knowledge. An ordinary mind, trained to obey a “Thus saith the Lord,” is better qualified for God’s work than are those who have capabilities but do not employ them rightly.—The Review and Herald, November 27, 1900. {LDE 205.2}
§95
这些工人的资格多半出于圣灵的恩膏,而少由于学校的训练。大有信心和恒切祷告的人要受激奋而以圣洁的热忱出去宣讲上帝所交给他们的信息。--GC 606 (1911年) {LDE 205.3}
§96
The laborers will be qualified rather by the unction of His Spirit than by the training of literary institutions. Men of faith and prayer will be constrained to go forth with holy zeal, declaring the words which God gives them.—The Great Controversy, 606 (1911). {LDE 205.3}
§97
上帝甚至使用没有文化的人
§98
God Uses Even the Illiterate
§99
那些接受基督为个人救主的人将会在最末后的试验和考验中站立得住。他们为在基督里毫不动摇的信心所坚固,甚至是不识字的信徒也能抵挡不信之人所提出的刁难问题,使那些诡辩讥笑者面红耳赤。{LDE 205.4}
§100
Those who receive Christ as a personal Saviour will stand the test and trial of these last days. Strengthened by unquestioning faith in Christ, even the illiterate disciple will be able to withstand the doubts and questions that infidelity can produce, and put to blush the sophistries of scorners. {LDE 205.4}
§101
主耶稣要赐予门徒口才和智慧,使他们的敌人既无从否认,也无法对抗。那班凭理论不能胜过撒但迷惑的人,将要作出那困扰名为学者的肯定而实际的见证。从那没有文化之人的口中将要说出带着智慧和说服之能的话语,使多人悔改归服真理,成千的人将因他们的见证得以悔改。{LDE 205.5}
§102
The Lord Jesus will give the disciples a tongue and wisdom that their adversaries can neither gainsay nor resist. Those who could not, by reasoning, overcome satanic delusions will bear an affirmative testimony that will baffle supposedly learned men. Words will come from the lips of the unlearned with such convincing power and wisdom that conversions will be made to the truth. Thousands will be converted under their testimony. {LDE 205.5}
§103
为什么没有学问的人竟有如此的能力,而有学问的人反倒没有呢?因为无学问的人,借着相信基督,已置身于清洁纯粹之真理的气氛中,而有学问的人却远离了真理。这谦卑的人是基督的见证人。他虽不能指历史或所谓之科学为证,但他却从上帝的圣言中采集有力的凭证。他在圣灵的感动之下所讲述的真理是那么的纯真与卓越,并带着不容置辩的能力,以致他所作的见证乃是无可否认的。--8MR 187, 188 (1905). {LDE 206.1}
§104
Why should the illiterate man have this power, which the learned man has not? The illiterate one, through faith in Christ, has come into the atmosphere of pure, clear truth, while the learned man has turned away from the truth. The poor man is Christ’s witness. He cannot appeal to histories or to so-called high science, but he gathers from the Word of God powerful evidence. The truth that he speaks under the inspiration of the Spirit is so pure and remarkable and carries with it a power so indisputable that his testimony cannot be gainsaid.—Manuscript Releases 8:187, 188 (1905). {LDE 206.1}
§105
孩子们传扬信息
§106
Children Proclaim the Message
§107
有许多人,甚至连未受过教育的人,也要出去宣讲主的圣言。儿童们也受了圣灵的激励,前去宣扬那自天而来的信息。圣灵会浇灌在所有愿意响应祂的感动,抛弃一切人为的体制,其束缚人的规则,和谨小慎微之方法的人身上。然后他们就会以圣灵的大能去宣扬真理。--Ev 700 (1895). {LDE 206.2}
§108
Many, even among the uneducated, now proclaim the words of the Lord. Children are impelled by the Spirit to go forth and declare the message from heaven. The Spirit is poured out upon all who will yield to its promptings and, casting off all man’s machinery, his binding rules and cautious methods, they will declare the truth with the might of the Spirit’s power.—Evangelism, 700 (1895). {LDE 206.2}
§109
当天上的生灵见到人们不再像耶稣所行的那样,直率地传讲真理时,孩子们将受上帝的灵感动,前去传扬现时代的真理。--SW 66 (1895). {LDE 206.3}
§110
When the heavenly intelligences see that men will no longer present the truth in simplicity as did Jesus, the very children will be moved upon by the Spirit of God and will go forth proclaiming the truth for this time.—The Southern Work, 66 (1895). {LDE 206.3}
§111
天使的效力
§112
The Ministry of Angels
§113
天上的使者正在感动人心以激起对圣经要道的研究。较比至今已做的,远为更大的工作要去做,而且所做之工的荣耀不会再涌流于人;因为天使正在昼夜工作,为那将要承受救恩的人效力。--CW 140 (1875). {LDE 207.1}
§114
The angels of heaven are moving upon human minds to arouse investigation in the themes of the Bible. A far greater work will be done than has yet been done and none of the glory of it will flow to men, for angels that minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation are working night and day.—Counsels to Writers and Editors, 140 (1875). {LDE 207.1}
§115
在我们这个世界上有许多像哥尼流一样的人。……正如上帝曾为哥尼流作工,照样祂现在为这些真实的旗手作工。……他们要获得对上帝的认识,正如哥尼流通过从天而来的使者的访问所经历的一样。--Letter 197, 1904. {LDE 207.2}
§116
There are many men in our world who are like Cornelius.... As God worked for Cornelius, so He works for these true standard-bearers.... They will obtain a knowledge of God as Cornelius did through the visitation of angels from heaven.—Letter 197, 1904. {LDE 207.2}
§117
当神能与人的努力结合起来时,福音工作必迅速展开,其势如火燎原。上帝可以使用那些靠着自己没有辨别力的人,他们若肯回应上帝的呼召,天使必助其完成一番有福的工作。--1SM 118 (1885). {LDE 207.3}
§118
When divine power is combined with human effort, the work will spread like fire in the stubble. God will employ agencies whose origin man will be unable to discern. Angels will do a work which men might have had the blessing of accomplishing had they not neglected to answer the claims of God.—Selected Messages 1:118 (1885). {LDE 207.3}
§119
普世范围的宣告
§120
World-wide Extent of the Proclamation
§121
那与第三位天使联合传扬其信息的另一位天使将要用他的荣耀照亮全世界。这话预言到一种普及全球的工作和非常的能力。……上帝的仆人因献身归主而脸上焕发圣洁的光辉,到处奔波,传扬那从天上来的信息。这警告要借着成千上万之人的声音传遍全球。--GC 611,612 (1911年) {LDE 207.4}
§122
The angel who unites in the proclamation of the third angel’s message is to lighten the whole earth with his glory. A work of world-wide extent and unwonted power is here foretold.... Servants of God, with their faces lighted up and shining with holy consecration, will hasten from place to place to proclaim the message from heaven. By thousands of voices, all over the earth, the warning will be given.—The Great Controversy, 611, 612 (1911). {LDE 207.4}
§123
现在应向世界各地发出在第三位之后的天使的信息。它应是收割的信息,并且全地将被上帝的荣耀所照亮。--Letter 86, 1900. {LDE 208.1}
§124
The message of the angel following the third is now to be given to all parts of the world. It is to be the harvest message, and the whole earth will be lighted with the glory of God.—Letter 86, 1900. {LDE 208.1}
§125
当逼迫的风暴真的要临上我们身上的时候,……第三天使的信息要逐渐增强为大呼声,全地都要因主的荣耀发光。--6T 401 (1900). {LDE 208.2}
§126
When the storm of persecution really breaks upon us, ... then will the message of the third angel swell to a loud cry, and the whole earth will be lightened with the glory of the Lord.—Testimonies for the Church 6:401 (1900). {LDE 208.2}
§127
当在美国的每个城市传扬真理。当在世界各国发出警告的信息。--GCB 1903年3月30日. {LDE 208.3}
§128
In every city in America the truth is to be proclaimed. In every country of the world the warning message is to be given.—The General Conference Bulletin, March 30, 1903. {LDE 208.3}
§129
教会在大呼声中,因得蒙她至高之主神旨干预的协助,就必将有关救恩的知识充充足足地传开,使这光得以广布到各城各镇。--Ev 694 (1904). {LDE 208.4}
§130
During the loud cry the church, aided by the providential interpositions of her exalted Lord, will diffuse the knowledge of salvation so abundantly that light will be communicated to every city and town.—Evangelism, 694 (1904). {LDE 208.4}
§131
有一场危机正临到我们。我们的当务之急就是要藉着圣灵的大能把这末世的伟大真理传扬出去。不久每个人都将听到警告并做出决定。然后末期便来到。--6T 24 (1900). {LDE 208.5}
§132
A crisis is right upon us. We must now by the Holy Spirit’s power proclaim the great truths for these last days. It will not be long before everyone will have heard the warning and made his decision. Then shall the end come.—Testimonies for the Church 6:24 (1900). {LDE 208.5}
§133
国王,立法者,议会,听到这信息
§134
Kings, Legislators, Councils, Hear the Message
§135
现在对我们来说,似乎不可能有什么人将不得不独自站立,但是如果上帝藉着我说话,时候要到,我们要为祂的名被带到议会和成千上万的人面前,而且每个人都得说明自己信仰的缘由。那时为真理所取的每一立场将要受到最严厉的批判。因而我们需要研究上帝的圣言,以便我们可以知道我们为何相信自己所提倡的教义。--RH 1888年12月18日. {LDE 209.1}
§136
It does not seem possible to us now that any should have to stand alone, but if God has ever spoken by me, the time will come when we shall be brought before councils and before thousands for His name’s sake, and each one will have to give the reason of his faith. Then will come the severest criticism upon every position that has been taken for the truth. We need, then, to study the Word of God, that we may know why we believe the doctrines we advocate.—The Review and Herald, December 18, 1888. {LDE 209.1}
§137
有不少的人或者要在立法机构里作证;有些人会在君王和世上的学者面前,为自己的信仰作答。那些对真理只有表面认识的人,就不能清楚地讲解圣经,说明自己信仰实际的缘由。他们必至心思混乱,绝对不能作无愧的工人。但愿没有人因为自己既不要在神圣的讲台上传道,就认为他没有用功的必要。你们不晓得上帝可能向你们有怎样的要求。--FE 217 (1893). {LDE 209.2}
§138
Many will have to stand in the legislative courts; some will have to stand before kings and before the learned of the earth to answer for their faith. Those who have only a superficial understanding of truth will not be able clearly to expound the Scriptures and give definite reasons for their faith. They will become confused and will not be workmen that need not to be ashamed. Let no one imagine that he has no need to study because he is not to preach in the sacred desk. You know not what God may require of you.—Fundamentals of Christian Education, 217 (1893). {LDE 209.2}
§139
许多复临信徒挺身而出反对这光
§140
Many Adventists Brace Themselves Against the Light
§141
在[基督复临安息日会的]各教会中将有上帝大能的奇妙显示。但是那些没有在主面前自卑,借着认罪悔改而将自己心门敞开的人,却不会因而受到感动。那使大地因上帝的荣耀发光之权能的显示,在他们的盲目之中,只觉察到某些自以为是有危险的事,适足以引起他们恐惧的事,因此挺身而出予以抗拒。他们因为主没有依照他们的期望和理想行事,于是就反对这工作。他们说:“什么理由,难道我们参加工作这么多年,还不明白上帝的圣灵吗?”--RH 1890年12月23日特刊. {LDE 209.3}
§142
There is to be in the [Seventh-day Adventist] churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations they will oppose the work. “Why,” they say, “should we not know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years?”—The Review and Herald Extra, December 23, 1890. {LDE 209.3}
§143
那些拒绝行在第三位天使信息渐强之荣耀中的人,不会理解第三位天使信息,他们将称那要以其荣耀照亮全地的光为错谬的光。--RH 1890年5月27日. {LDE 210.1}
§144
The third angel’s message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory.—The Review and Herald, May 27, 1890. {LDE 210.1}
§145
大多数非复临信徒会拒绝这警告
§146
Most Non-Adventists Will Reject the Warning
§147
极多听到这个信息的人不会相信严肃的警告。许多人不忠于品格的检验标准——上帝的诫命。主的仆人将被人称为狂热分子。传道人会警告人们不要听他们的话。当上帝的灵催促挪亚传信息,不管人们会听从还是会拒绝时,他受到过同样的待遇。--TM 233 (1895). {LDE 210.2}
§148
Many who hear the message—by far the greatest number—will not credit the solemn warning. Many will be found disloyal to the commandments of God, which are a test of character. The Lord’s servants will be called enthusiasts. Ministers will warn the people not to listen to them. Noah received the same treatment while the Spirit of God was urging him to give the message, whether men would hear or whether they would forbear.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 233 (1895). {LDE 210.2}
§149
有人会留意这些警告,但大多数人却必置之不理。--HP 343 (1897). {LDE 210.3}
§150
Some will listen to these warnings, but by the vast majority they will be disregarded.—In Heavenly Places, 343 (1897). {LDE 210.3}
§151
那班专讨人喜欢的传道人便要象古时的法利赛人一样,因为有人怀疑他们的权柄,就满怀愤怒,申斥这信息是出于撒但的,并要鼓动那喜爱罪恶的群众起来嘲骂逼迫那些传扬警告的人。--GC 607 (1911年) {LDE 210.4}
§152
The popular ministry, like the Pharisees of old, filled with anger as their authority is questioned, will denounce the message as of Satan, and stir up the sin-loving multitudes to revile and persecute those who proclaim it.—The Great Controversy, 607 (1911). {LDE 210.4}
§153
多人响应呼召
§154
Multitudes Will Answer the Call
§155
分散在各宗教团体之中的许多生灵响应了这呼声,结果主所看为珍贵的人就在迫切的催促之下脱离了那些厄运注定了的教会,正象罗得在所多玛被毁灭之前被催促离开一样。--EW 279 (1858). {LDE 211.1}
§156
Souls that were scattered all through the religious bodies answered to the call, and the precious were hurried out of the doomed churches, as Lot was hurried out of Sodom before her destruction.—Early Writings, 279 (1858). {LDE 211.1}
§157
将有一大群坚定的信徒,他们会坚如磐石,通过最后的试验。--3SM 390 (1888). {LDE 211.2}
§158
There will be an army of steadfast believers who will stand as firm as a rock through the last test.—Selected Messages 3:390 (1888). {LDE 211.2}
§159
有许多生灵要从世界各阶层,从各个教会——甚至天主教会——出来,他们的热心要远远超过那些此时以前已经站在传扬真理的行列的人。--3SM 386, 387 (1889). {LDE 211.3}
§160
There are many souls to come out of the ranks of the world, out of the churches—even the Catholic Church—whose zeal will far exceed that of those who have stood in rank and file to proclaim the truth heretofore.—Selected Messages 3:386, 387 (1889). {LDE 211.3}
§161
许许多多的人会接受这种信仰,并加入上帝大军的行列。--Ev 700 (1895). {LDE 211.4}
§162
Multitudes will receive the faith and join the armies of the Lord.—Evangelism, 700 (1895). {LDE 211.4}
§163
许多已离群迷失的羊,也都要回来跟从“大牧人”。--6T 401 (1900). {LDE 211.5}
§164
Many who have strayed from the fold will come back to follow the great Shepherd.—Testimonies for the Church 6:401 (1900). {LDE 211.5}
§165
在信奉邪教的非洲,在信奉罗马教的欧洲和南美洲,在中国,在印度,在各海岛,和地上一切黑暗的角落里,上帝保留着一群灿若星辰的选民,他们要在黑暗中发光,向背道的世界清楚地显明顺从祂的律法所有的变化之能。即使在现今,这些人也已在各国各方各民中出现;在背道情形最严重的时候,正当撒但尽他最大的力量,以死刑的威胁“叫众人,无论大小贫富,自主的、为奴的”(启13:16)都接受伪安息日的印记时,这些“无可指摘,诚实无伪……作上帝无瑕疵的儿女”的忠心之人必“显在这世代中,好像明光照耀。”--PK 188,189 (c. 1914). {LDE 211.6}
§166
In heathen Africa, in the Catholic lands of Europe and of South America, in China, in India, in the islands of the sea, and in all the dark corners of the earth, God has in reserve a firmament of chosen ones that will yet shine forth amidst the darkness, revealing clearly to an apostate world the transforming power of obedience to His law. Even now they are appearing in every nation, among every tongue and people; and in the hour of deepest apostasy, when Satan’s supreme effort is made to cause “all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,” to receive, under penalty of death, the sign of allegiance to a false rest day, these faithful ones, “blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke,” will “shine as lights in the world.”—Prophets and Kings, 188, 189 (c. 1914). {LDE 211.6}
§167
数千人在一日之间归正
§168
Thousands Converted in a Day
§169
将有数千人在最后的时刻看明并承认真理。……这些人皈依真理的速度之快,会令教会惊讶,并且惟有上帝的名将得到尊荣。--2SM 16 (1890). {LDE 212.1}
§170
Thousands in the eleventh hour will see and acknowledge the truth.... These conversions to truth will be made with a rapidity that will surprise the church, and God’s name alone will be glorified.—Selected Messages 2:16 (1890). {LDE 212.1}
§171
将有数千人在一日之间归向真理,他们在最后时刻看明并承认真理和圣灵的感动。--EGW88 755 (1890). {LDE 212.2}
§172
There will be thousands converted to the truth in a day who at the eleventh hour see and acknowledge the truth and the movements of the Spirit of God.—The Ellen G. White 1888 Materials, 755 (1890). {LDE 212.2}
§173
时日将到,必有多人在一日之间悔改归主,正如五旬节门徒受了圣灵之后的情形一样。--Ev 692 (1905). {LDE 212.3}
§174
The time is coming when there will be as many converted in a day as there were on the Day of Pentecost, after the disciples had received the Holy Spirit.—Evangelism, 692 (1905). {LDE 212.3}
§175
心地诚实的人将不再犹豫
§176
The Honest-in-Heart Will Not Hesitate Long
§177
有许多人现今还不明白要采取自己的立场,但这些事是要影响他们生命的,在这信息用大声传扬的时候,他们会准备接受之。他们不会再迟延;他们要出来采取自己的立场。--Ev 300, 301 (1890). {LDE 212.4}
§178
A good many do not see it now, to take their position, but these things are influencing their lives, and when the message goes with a loud voice they will be ready for it. They will not hesitate long; they will come out and take their position.—Evangelism, 300, 301 (1890). {LDE 212.4}
§179
再过不久,那最后的试验就要临到世上一切的居民了。到那时,人人都必须迅速地作出决断。凡已听见真理的宣传而相信的人,必投身于以马内利大君血染的旗帜之下。--9T 149 (1909). {LDE 213.1}
§180
Soon the last test is to come to all inhabitants of the earth. At that time prompt decisions will be made. Those who have been convicted under the presentation of the Word will range themselves under the bloodstained banner of Prince Emmanuel.—Testimonies for the Church 9:149 (1909). {LDE 213.1}
§181
每一个真正诚实的人必能看明真理的亮光。--GC 522 (1911年) {LDE 213.2}
§182
Every truly honest soul will come to the light of truth.—The Great Controversy, 522 (1911). {LDE 213.2}
§183
这信息的传开,要少靠辩论,多靠上帝的灵使人心深深感服。真理的论据早已有人说明了。真理的种子早已有人撒出了,这时就必生长结实。福音工作者所散的印刷品已经发挥了它们的感化力。虽然当时有许多人受了感动,但因为种种拦阻,未能完全了解真理,也没有顺从上帝。到了此时,真理的光辉深入各处,他们就要清清楚楚地看明真理。于是上帝一切忠诚的儿女就要挣脱那羁绊他们的绳索。家属的牵连,教会的关系,到此都不足以挽留他们了。他们要看真理比一切更为宝贵。虽然很多的势力要团结起来反对真理,但还是有一大群人决心要站在上帝一边。--GC 612 (1911年) {LDE 213.3}
§184
The message will be carried not so much by argument as by the deep conviction of the Spirit of God. The arguments have been presented. The seed has been sown, and now it will spring up and bear fruit. The publications distributed by missionary workers have exerted their influence, yet many whose minds were impressed have been prevented from fully comprehending the truth or from yielding obedience. Now the rays of light penetrate everywhere, the truth is seen in its clearness, and the honest children of God sever the bands which have held them. Family connections, church relations, are powerless to stay them now. Truth is more precious than all besides. Notwithstanding the agencies combined against the truth, a large number take their stand upon the Lord’s side.—The Great Controversy, 612 (1911). {LDE 213.3}
§185
印刷品的影响
§186
Influence of the Printed Page
§187
不久就会有逾千的人在一日之内悔改,其中大半的人将要追溯其第一次信道是由于阅读本会的书报而来的。--Ev 693 (1885). {LDE 213.4}
§188
More than one thousand will soon be converted in one day, most of whom will trace their first convictions to the reading of our publications.—Evangelism, 693 (1885). {LDE 213.4}
§189
这本书[《善恶之争》]推销的后果,不能以眼前的情形为断。由于阅读,必有些人受激动,发出勇气,使自己立刻与守上帝诫命的那些人联合。但是还有更大多数阅读本书的人,一直要到目睹书中所预言的种种大事发生了,才要决定自己的立场。有些预言的应验足以启发人的信心,相信其他的预言也必成就,并且当工作行将结束,耶和华的荣光照耀大地之时,由于阅读这本书之后果,许多人必决定立场,遵守上帝的诫命。--CM 128,129 (1890). {LDE 214.1}
§190
The results of the circulation of this book [The Great Controversy] are not to be judged by what now appears. By reading it some souls will be aroused and will have courage to unite themselves at once with those who keep the commandments of God. But a much larger number who read it will not take their position until they see the very events taking place that are foretold in it. The fulfillment of some of the predictions will inspire faith that others also will come to pass, and when the earth is lightened with the glory of the Lord in the closing work, many souls will take their position on the commandments of God as the result of this agency.—Colporteur Ministry, 128, 129 (1890). {LDE 214.1}
§191
那另一位有大权柄的天使,从天降下,使地因他的荣耀而发光(启18:1),他的工作在很大的程度上要由我们的出版社来完成。--7T 140 (1902). {LDE 214.2}
§192
In a large degree through our publishing houses is to be accomplished the work of that other angel who comes down from heaven with great power and who lightens the earth with his glory [Revelation 18:1].—Testimonies for the Church 7:140 (1902). {LDE 214.2}
