第1章 地球最后的危机
§2
Chapter 1—Earth’s Last Crisis
§3
对于将来的普遍忧虑
§4
Widespread Apprehension About the Future
§5
现时代对于一切生活在世上的人乃是一个极有意义的时代。许多国家的领袖和政治家,负有重责握有大权的人,以及各阶层的有心人士,都在凝神注意那在我们四围发生的大事。他们很注意当前的国际形势。他们看到每一个属世的势力都呈现着非常紧张的状态,所以他们都看出将有重大而决定性的大事发生──全世界已经临到一个惊人的危机。--PK 537 (c. 1914年) {LDE 11.1}
§6
The present is a time of overwhelming interest to all living. Rulers and statesmen, men who occupy positions of trust and authority, thinking men and women of all classes, have their attention fixed upon the events taking place about us. They are watching the relations that exist among the nations. They observe the intensity that is taking possession of every earthly element and they recognize that something great and decisive is about to take place—that the world is on the verge of a stupendous crisis.—Prophets and Kings, 537 (c. 1914). {LDE 11.1}
§7
地上的祸患,海里的灾难,社会的动荡,战争的风云,都是预兆,预示将有重大的事件将要发生了。罪恶的各种权势,正在纠集力量以巩固阵线,预备应付最后的危机。世界上将要发生重大的变动,而且最后的几幕将是非常迅速。--9T 11 (1909). {LDE 11.2}
§8
The calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war, are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude. The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones.—Testimonies for the Church 9:11 (1909). {LDE 11.2}
§9
艰难时期不久要来临
§10
Troublous Times Soon to Come
§11
艰难时期——就是那日趋严重直到末时的艰难时期,已经临近了。我们再没有时日可以耽延了。全世界都已被好战的精神所激动。《但以理书》第十一章的预言,几乎已到达最后应验的阶段。--RH 1904年11月24日. {LDE 12.1}
§12
The time of trouble, which is to increase until the end, is very near at hand. We have no time to lose. The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecies of the eleventh of Daniel have almost reached their final fulfillment.—The Review and Herald, November 24, 1904. {LDE 12.1}
§13
艰难时期——从有国以来直到此时,没有这样的大艰难(但12:1)——正要临到我们,而我们就象那睡着的童女。我们要醒起,求主耶稣把我们放在祂永恒的臂膀下,帮助我们度过摆在我们前面的考验时期。--3MR 305 (1906). {LDE 12.2}
§14
The time of trouble—trouble such as was not since there was a nation [Daniel 12:1]—is right upon us, and we are like the sleeping virgins. We are to awake and ask the Lord Jesus to place underneath us His everlasting arms, and carry us through the time of trial before us.—Manuscript Releases 3:305 (1906). {LDE 12.2}
§15
世界正在变得越来越无法无天。不久各国之间就要发生严重的纠纷——就是直到耶稣再来不会停息的纠纷。--RH 1904年2月11日. {LDE 12.3}
§16
The world is becoming more and more lawless. Soon great trouble will arise among the nations—trouble that will not cease until Jesus comes.—The Review and Herald, February 11, 1904. {LDE 12.3}
§17
我们现在已面临艰难时期的边缘了。许多梦想不到的困难已摆在我们面前。--9T 43 (1909).{LDE 12.4}
§18
We are on the very verge of the time of trouble, and perplexities that are scarcely dreamed of are before us.—Testimonies for the Church 9:43 (1909). {LDE 12.4}
§19
我们正站在历代以来最大危机的门口。上帝的刑罚将接踵而至——就是火灾、水灾、地震、以及战争流血的事。--PK 278 (c. 1914). {LDE 12.5}
§20
We are standing on the threshold of the crisis of the ages. In quick succession the judgments of God will follow one another—fire, and flood, and earthquake, with war and bloodshed.—Prophets and Kings, 278 (c. 1914). {LDE 12.5}
§21
暴风雨的时日,正在我们之前,但愿我们不发一句疑惑灰心的话。--ChS 136 (1905).{LDE 12.6}
§22
There are stormy times before us, but let us not utter one word of unbelief or discouragement.—Christian Service, 136 (1905). {LDE 12.6}
§23
上帝一直就快要临到的审判发出警告
§24
God Has Always Warned of Coming Judgments
§25
上帝一向把快要临到的刑罚警告世人。那些相信当时的信息并依照他们的信心而顺从祂诫命的人,逃脱了那降在背逆不信之人头上的刑罚。{LDE 13.1}
§26
God has always given men warning of coming judgments. Those who had faith in His message for their time, and who acted out their faith in obedience to His commandments, escaped the judgments that fell upon the disobedient and unbelieving. {LDE 13.1}
§27
主“耶和华对挪亚说:你和你的全家都要进入方舟,因为在这世代中,我见你在我面前是义人”(创7:1)。挪亚顺从了,就得了救。又有警告传给罗得说:“你们起来离开这地方,因为耶和华要毁灭这城”(创19:14)。罗得置身于天使的保护之下,也就蒙了拯救。古时,基督的门徒也如此得到耶路撒冷毁灭的警告。那些注意即将来临之毁灭的兆头而从城中逃跑的人,都没有与那城同归于尽。我们现在也得到关于基督第二次降临和临到世人身上之毁灭的警告。凡注意这警告的人也必得救。--DA 634 (1898) {LDE 13.2}
§28
The word came to Noah, “Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before Me.” Noah obeyed and was saved. The message came to Lot, “Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city” (Genesis 7:1; 19:14). Lot placed himself under the guardianship of the heavenly messengers and was saved. So Christ’s disciples were given warning of the destruction of Jerusalem. Those who watched for the sign of the coming ruin, and fled from the city, escaped the destruction. So now we are given warning of Christ’s second coming and of the destruction to fall upon the world. Those who heed the warning will be saved.—The Desire of Ages, 634 (1898). {LDE 13.2}
§29
上帝已经告诉我们即将发生什么
§30
God Has Told Us What to Expect in Our Day
§31
救主在被钉十字架之前,曾向门徒说明祂要被人置于死地,并要从坟墓里复活。当时有天使把这些话铭刻在他们的心中(可8:31-32;9:31;10:32-34)。但那时门徒正在希望挣脱罗马帝国的铁轭,所以他们对于自己一切希望所寄托的主将要受可耻之死的这个思想,是很难接受的。因此他们把所应当牢记的话置于脑后。及至考验来到时,他们却没有准备。基督的死使他们的希望全归幻灭,好像是基督事先没有警告过他们一样。{LDE 13.3}
§32
Before His crucifixion the Saviour explained to His disciples that He was to be put to death and to rise again from the tomb, and angels were present to impress His words on minds and hearts. [See Mark 8:31, 32; 9:31; 10:32-34.] But the disciples were looking for temporal deliverance from the Roman yoke, and they could not tolerate the thought that He in whom all their hopes centered should suffer an ignominious death. The words which they needed to remember were banished from their minds, and when the time of trial came it found them unprepared. The death of Jesus as fully destroyed their hopes as if He had not forewarned them. {LDE 13.3}
§33
照样,先知的预言已经把未来的事明明白白地展开在我们面前,正如昔日基督的话向门徒展开一样。一切有关恩典时期结束的种种大事,以及应付大灾难时期的预备工作,主都已向我们清楚地指明了。但有许多人根本不明白这些重要的真理,好像圣经没有把它启示给人一样。--GC 594 (1911) {LDE 14.1}
§34
So in the prophecies the future is opened before us as plainly as it was opened to the disciples by the words of Christ. The events connected with the close of probation and the work of preparation for the time of trouble, are clearly presented. But multitudes have no more understanding of these important truths than if they had never been revealed.—The Great Controversy, 594 (1911). {LDE 14.1}
§35
末日的预言要引起我们的注意
§36
Last Day Prophecies Demand Our Attention
§37
后来我看到第三位天使(启14:9-11)。那伴随我的天使说,“他的工作是可畏的,他的使命是威严的。这一位天使要将麦子从稗子里选出来,然后将麦子捆成捆,加上印,收到天上的仓里。这些事应该占据人们的全部思想和全副精神。” --EW 118 (1854). {LDE 14.2}
§38
I then saw the third angel [Revelation 14:9-11]. Said my accompanying angel, “Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner. These things should engross the whole mind, the whole attention.”—Early Writings, 118 (1854). {LDE 14.2}
§39
我们将要站在官长们面前,说明我们忠于上帝律法的心迹,使人知道我们信仰的缘由。青年们应当明白这些事。{LDE 14.3}
§40
We shall have to stand before magistrates to answer for our allegiance to the law of God, to make known the reasons of our faith. And the youth should understand these things. {LDE 14.3}
§41
他们当知道在世界历史结束之前所要临到的这些事。这关乎我们永恒的福利,教师及学生们应当更加注意这些事。--6T 128,129 (1900). {LDE 14.4}
§42
They should know the things that will come to pass before the closing up of the world’s history. These things concern our eternal welfare, and teachers and students should give more attention to them.—Testimonies for the Church 6:128, 129 (1900). {LDE 14.4}
§43
我们当研究那些指明我们现今所处时代的极重要的路标。--4MR 163 (1895). {LDE 14.5}
§44
We should study the great waymarks that point out the times in which we are living.—Manuscript Releases 4:163 (1895). {LDE 14.5}
§45
那些接受上帝掌控,顺从祂领导的人,必认出祂所命定发生之事件的坚定步伐。--7T 14 (1902). {LDE 15.1}
§46
Those who place themselves under God’s control, to be led and guided by Him, will catch the steady tread of the events ordained by Him to take place.—Testimonies for the Church 7:14 (1902). {LDE 15.1}
§47
我们应当从历史中看出预言的应验,研究上帝的天意是如何指导着那些伟大的改革运动,看清各国聚集进行最后大战的大事进程。--8T 307 (1904). {LDE 15.2}
§48
We are to see in history the fulfillment of prophecy, to study the workings of Providence in the great reformatory movements, and to understand the progress of events in the marshaling of the nations for the final conflict of the great controversy.—Testimonies for the Church 8:307 (1904). {LDE 15.2}
§49
尤其要研究《但以理书》和《启示录》
§50
Study the Books of Daniel and Revelation Especially
§51
我们需要更加恳切地研究圣经。特别是《但以理书》和《启示录》,应给予我们圣工有史以来前所未有的关注。……但以理从上帝那里所领受的亮光是特别赐给末后这些日子的。--TM 112,113 (1896). {LDE 15.3}
§52
There is need of a much closer study of the Word of God; especially should Daniel and the Revelation have attention as never before.... The light that Daniel received from God was given especially for these last days.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 112, 113 (1896). {LDE 15.3}
§53
让我们阅读和研究《但以理书》第十二章。这是在末时之前我们都需要明白的一个警告。--15 MR 228 (1903). {LDE 15.4}
§54
Let us read and study the twelfth chapter of Daniel. It is a warning that we shall all need to understand before the time of the end.—Manuscript Releases 15:228 (1903). {LDE 15.4}
§55
新约圣经的最后一卷,满载着我们所需要明白的真理。--COL 133 (1900). {LDE 15.5}
§56
The last book of the New Testament scriptures is full of truth that we need to understand.—Christ’s Object Lessons, 133 (1900). {LDE 15.5}
§57
《启示录》中还未应验的预言不久会应验。现在上帝的子民应该殷勤研究,并清楚明白这预言。《启示录》并没有隐藏真理。它预先发出明确的警告,告诉我们将来必有的事。--1NL 96 (1903). {LDE 15.6}
§58
The unfulfilled predictions of the book of Revelation are soon to be fulfilled. This prophecy is now to be studied with diligence by the people of God and should be clearly understood. It does not conceal the truth; it clearly forewarns, telling us what will be in the future.—Notebook Leaflets 1:96 (1903). {LDE 15.6}
§59
这在《启示录》中顺序而发的严肃信息,在上帝子民的心思中应占首位。--8T 302 (1904). {LDE 16.1}
§60
The solemn messages that have been given in their order in the Revelation are to occupy the first place in the minds of God’s people.—Testimonies for the Church 8:302 (1904). {LDE 16.1}
§61
当把这个主题摆在人们面前
§62
The Subject Should Be Kept Before the People
§63
有许多人还不明白关于现今的预言,他们必须蒙受启迪。将号角吹发确定的声音,这乃是守望者和平信徒的责任。--Ev 194,195 (1875). {LDE 16.2}
§64
There are many who do not understand the prophecies relating to these days and they must be enlightened. It is the duty of both watchmen and laymen to give the trumpet a certain sound.—Evangelism, 194, 195 (1875). {LDE 16.2}
§65
惟愿守望者现今扬声,传布现代真理的信息。但愿我们向人显明现今是处于预言历史的哪一阶段。--5T 716 (1889). {LDE 16.3}
§66
Let the watchmen now lift up their voice and give the message which is present truth for this time. Let us show the people where we are in prophetic history.—Testimonies for the Church 5:716 (1889). {LDE 16.3}
§67
上帝已经指出了有一天这个世界的历史会结束:“这天国的福音要传遍天下,对万民作见证,然后末期才来到。”预言正在很快地应验。关于这些惊人的重要题目应该越来越多地谈论。每个人的命运被永远决定的这一天即将到来……{LDE 16.4}
§68
There is a day that God hath appointed for the close of this world’s history: “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Prophecy is fast fulfilling. More, much more, should be said about these tremendously important subjects. The day is at hand when the destiny of souls will be fixed forever.... {LDE 16.4}
§69
当以极大的耐心尽力把这个题目摆在人们面前。主的日子会突然地、出乎意料地来到,这个严肃的事实不仅要摆在世人面前,也要摆在我们自己的教会面前。这个预言的可怕警告应该向每一个人讲述。但愿没有人觉得在这惊人危机中是安全的。不要让任何人对预言的解释夺去你对这一伟大事件近在咫尺的认识与确信。--FE 335,336 (1895). {LDE 16.5}
§70
Great pains should be taken to keep this subject before the people. The solemn fact is to be kept not only before the people of the world but before our own churches also, that the day of the Lord will come suddenly, unexpectedly. The fearful warning of the prophecy is addressed to every soul. Let no one feel that he is secure from the danger of being surprised. Let no one’s interpretation of prophecy rob you of the conviction of the knowledge of events which show that this great event is near at hand.—Fundamentals of Christian Education, 335, 336 (1895). {LDE 16.5}
§71
保持对将来事件的正确看法
§72
Keeping Future Events in Proper Perspective
§73
我们现在还不能够精确地描述我们这个世界将来要出现的场面,但有一点我们是知道的,就是现在乃是我们必须警醒祈祷的时候,因为主的大日临近了。--2SM 35 (1901). {LDE 17.1}
§74
We are not now able to describe with accuracy the scenes to be enacted in our world in the future, but this we do know, that this is a time when we must watch unto prayer, for the great day of the Lord is at hand.—Selected Messages 2:35 (1901). {LDE 17.1}
§75
兽的印记,确实是一如我们素来所传的。到现在虽未能全盘明了此事,而且非至书卷展开之日无法明白。--6T 17 (1900). {LDE 17.2}
§76
The mark of the beast is exactly what it has been proclaimed to be. Not all in regard to this matter is yet understood nor will it be understood until the unrolling of the scroll.—Testimonies for the Church 6:17 (1900). {LDE 17.2}
§77
许多人转离现在的责任,现在的安慰和福气,而对于将来的危机,正在自找麻烦。这将使困难的时日过早地来到,而我们将得不到恩典来应付任何这样的预期的困难。--3SM 383,384 (1884). {LDE 17.3}
§78
Many will look away from present duties, present comfort and blessings, and be borrowing trouble in regard to the future crisis. This will be making a time of trouble beforehand, and we will receive no grace for any such anticipated troubles.—Selected Messages 3:383, 384 (1884). {LDE 17.3}
§79
有一个艰难的时日要临到上帝的子民,但是我们不必总是把那摆在人们面前,要阻止他们提前经受艰难时日。在上帝的子民中将有一场摇动,但这不是要带给各教会的现代真理。--1SM 180 (1890). {LDE 17.4}
§80
There is a time of trouble coming to the people of God, but we are not to keep that constantly before the people and rein them up to have a time of trouble beforehand. There is to be a shaking among God’s people, but this is not the present truth to carry to the churches.—Selected Messages 1:180 (1890). {LDE 17.4}
