* 撒下1:1 扫罗死后，大卫击杀亚玛力人回来，在洗革拉住了两天。

*Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;

* 撒下1:2 第三天，有一人从扫罗的营里出来，衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘，到大卫面前伏地叩拜。

*It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.

* 撒下1:3 大卫问他说：“你从哪里来？”他说：“我从以色列的营里逃来。”

*And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.

* 撒下1:4 大卫又问他说：“事情怎样？请你告诉我。”他回答说：“百姓从阵上逃跑，也有许多人仆倒死亡；扫罗和他儿子约拿单也死了。”

*And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

* 撒下1:5 大卫问报信的少年人说：“你怎么知道扫罗和他儿子约拿单死了呢？”

*And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?

* 撒下1:6 报信的少年人说：“我偶然到基利波山，看见扫罗伏在自己枪上，有战车、马兵紧紧地追他。

*And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

* 撒下1:7 他回头看见我，就呼叫我。我说：‘我在这里。’

*And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
§16
* 撒下1:8 他问我说：‘你是什么人？’我说：‘我是亚玛力人。’

*And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
§18
* 撒下1:9 他说：‘请你来，将我杀死；因为痛苦抓住我，我的生命尚存。’
§19
*He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.
§20
* 撒下1:10 我准知他仆倒必不能活，就去将他杀死，把他头上的冠冕、臂上的镯子拿到我主这里。”

*So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.

* 撒下1:11 大卫就撕裂衣服，跟随他的人也是如此，

*Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:

* 撒下1:12 而且悲哀哭号，禁食到晚上，是因扫罗和他儿子约拿单，并耶和华的民以色列家的人，倒在刀下。

*And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.

* 撒下1:13 大卫问报信的少年人说：“你是哪里的人？”他说：“我是亚玛力客人的儿子。”

*And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

* 撒下1:14 大卫说：“你伸手杀害耶和华的受膏者，怎么不畏惧呢？”

*And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?

* 撒下1:15 大卫叫了一个少年人来，说：“你去杀他吧！”

*And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
§32
* 撒下1:16 大卫对他说：“你流人血的罪归到自己的头上，因为你亲口作见证说：‘我杀了耶和华的受膏者。’”少年人就把他杀了。

*And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's anointed.

*And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

* 撒下1:18 且吩咐将这歌教导犹大人。这歌名叫“弓歌”，写在雅煞珥书上。

*Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

* 撒下1:19 歌中说：以色列啊，你尊荣者在山上被杀！大英雄何竟死亡！

*The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
§40
* 撒下1:20 不要在迦特报告；不要在亚实基伦街上传扬；免得非利士的女子欢乐；免得未受割礼之人的女子矜夸。
§41
*Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

* 撒下1:21 基利波山哪，愿你那里没有雨露！愿你田地无土产可作供物！因为英雄的盾牌在那里被污丢弃；扫罗的盾牌仿佛未曾抹油。
§43
*Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
§44
* 撒下1:22 约拿单的弓箭非流敌人的血不退缩；扫罗的刀剑非剖勇士的油不收回。
§45
*From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
§46
* 撒下1:23 扫罗和约拿单活时相悦相爱，死时也不分离。他们比鹰更快，比狮子还强。
§47
*Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.

* 撒下1:24 以色列的女子啊，当为扫罗哭号！他曾使你们穿朱红色的美衣，使你们衣服有黄金的妆饰。
§49
*Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

* 撒下1:25 英雄何竟在阵上仆倒！约拿单何竟在山上被杀！

*How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.

* 撒下1:26 我兄约拿单哪，我为你悲伤！我甚喜悦你！你向我发的爱情奇妙非常，过于妇女的爱情。
§53
*I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

* 撒下1:27 英雄何竟仆倒！战具何竟灭没！

*How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
