* 约壹5:1 凡信耶稣是基督的，都是从上帝而生，凡爱生他之上帝的，也必爱从上帝生的。

*Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

* 约壹5:2 我们若爱上帝，又遵守他的诫命，从此就知道我们爱上帝的儿女。

*By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
§6
* 约壹5:3 我们遵守上帝的诫命，这就是爱他了，并且他的诫命不是难守的。
§7
*For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
§8
* 约壹5:4 因为凡从上帝生的，就胜过世界；使我们胜了世界的，就是我们的信心。
§9
*For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

* 约壹5:5 胜过世界的是谁呢？不是那信耶稣是上帝儿子的吗？

*Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

* 约壹5:6 这藉着水和血而来的，就是耶稣基督；不是单用水，乃是用水又用血，

*This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

* 约壹5:7 并且有圣灵作见证，因为圣灵就是真理。

*For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
§17
* 约壹5:8 作见证的原来有三：就是圣灵、水，与血，这三样也都归于一。
§18
*And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
§19
* 约壹5:9 我们既领受人的见证，上帝的见证更该领受（该领受：原文作大）了，因上帝的见证是为他儿子作的。
§20
*If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

* 约壹5:10 信上帝儿子的，就有这见证在他心里；不信上帝的，就是将上帝当作说谎的，因不信上帝为他儿子作的见证。
§22
*He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

* 约壹5:11 这见证就是上帝赐给我们永生；这永生也是在他儿子里面。

*And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

* 约壹5:12 人有了上帝的儿子就有生命，没有上帝的儿子就没有生命。

*He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

* 约壹5:13 我将这些话写给你们信奉上帝儿子之名的人，要叫你们知道自己有永生。

*These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
§30
* 约壹5:14 我们若照他的旨意求什么，他就听我们，这是我们向他所存坦然无惧的心。
§31
*And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

* 约壹5:15 既然知道他听我们一切所求的，就知道我们所求于他的，无不得着。
§33
*And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
§34
* 约壹5:16 人若看见弟兄犯了不至于死的罪，就当为他祈求，上帝必将生命赐给他；有至于死的罪，我不说当为这罪祈求。
§35
*If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

* 约壹5:17 凡不义的事都是罪，也有不至于死的罪。

*All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
§38
* 约壹5:18 我们知道凡从上帝生的，必不犯罪，从上帝生的，必保守自己（有古卷作：那从上帝生的必保护他），那恶者也就无法害他。
§39
*We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
§40
* 约壹5:19 我们知道，我们是属上帝的，全世界都卧在那恶者手下。
§41
*And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
§42
* 约壹5:20 我们也知道，上帝的儿子已经来到，且将智慧赐给我们，使我们认识那位真实的，我们也在那位真实的里面，就是在他儿子耶稣基督里面。这是真神，也是永生。
§43
*And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
§44
* 约壹5:21 小子们哪，你们要自守，远避偶像！
§45
*Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
