7月26日 蝗灾
§1 7月26日 蝗灾Locusts, July 26
§2 “耶和华对摩西说:‘你向埃及地伸杖,使蝗虫到埃及地上来,吃地上一切的菜蔬,就是冰雹所剩的’”(出10:12)。[1]{FH 219.1}
§3 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land—all that the hail has left.”?Exodus 10:12.?{FH 219.1}[1]
§4 摩西……警告法老,……要降下蝗灾,蝗虫必要遮满地面,吃尽所剩下的一切植物。……[2]{FH 219.2}
§5 Moses ... warned the monarch that ... a plague of locusts would be sent, which would cover the face of the earth and eat up every green thing....?{FH 219.2}[2]
§6 法老的臣仆因这个新的危险而胆战心惊。他们已因畜疫遭受了很大的损失。许多百姓已被大雹打死。……[3]{FH 219.3}
§7 The counselors of Pharaoh were appalled at this new danger. They had sustained great loss in the death of their cattle. Many of their people had been killed by the hail....?{FH 219.3}[3]
§8 于是法老把摩西亚伦再召了来,对他们说:“你们去事奉耶和华你们的上帝,但那要去的是谁呢?”[4]{FH 219.4}
§9 Then Moses and Aaron were again summoned, and the monarch said to them, “Go, serve the Lord your God: but who are they that shall go?”?{FH 219.4}[4]
§10 摩西回答说:“我们要和我们老的少的,儿子女儿同去,且把羊群牛群一同带去,因为我们务要向耶和华守节”(出10:8,9)。[5]{FH 219.5}
§11 The answer was, “We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the Lord.”?{FH 219.5}[5]
§12 法老大大震怒。……[6]{FH 219.6}
§13 The king was filled with rage....?{FH 219.6}[6]
§14 难道你们的上帝认为我会让你们的妻子和孩子一起去进行这么危险的远行吗?我不会这样做的;只有你们男丁可以去侍奉耶和华。这个心肠刚硬,欺压成性的君王,从前曾企图用苦工除灭以色列人,如今却虚伪地装作关心他们的福利,温慈地顾念他们的孩子。其实他的目的是要留下妇孺为人质,保证男丁一定会回来。……[7]{FH 219.7}
§15 Does your God think that I will let you go, with your wives and children, upon so dangerous an expedition? I will not do this; only you that are men shall go to serve the Lord. This hard-hearted, oppressive king, who had sought to destroy the Israelites by hard labor, would now pretend that he had a deep interest in their welfare and a tender care for their little ones, when he only designed to keep them as a pledge of their return....?{FH 219.7}[7]
§16 摩西受命向埃及地伸杖,就有东风把蝗虫刮了来。“蝗虫上来,……甚是厉害,以前没有这样的,以后也必没有”(出10:14)。他们遮天蔽日,甚至全地都黑暗了。他们吃尽了地上和树上所剩下一切青绿的东西。[8]{FH 219.8}
§17 Moses was commanded to stretch out his hand over the land, and an east wind blew and brought locusts: “very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.” They filled the sky till the land was darkened, and devoured every green thing on the ground and among the trees.?{FH 219.8}[8]
§18 法老急忙召了摩西亚伦来,对他们说:“我得罪耶和华你们的上帝,又得罪了你们。现在求你,只这一次,饶恕我的罪,求耶和华你们的上帝,使我脱离这一次的死亡”(出10:16,17)。[9]{FH 219.9}
§19 The king sent for Moses and Aaron in haste, and said to them, “I have sinned against the Lord your God, and against you. Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the Lord your God, that he may take away from me this death only.”?{FH 219.9}[9]
§20 他们就这样行,耶和华转了极大的西风,把蝗虫都吹入红海里,连一个也没有留下。但法老虽然在受到死亡的威胁时谦卑了下来,可是灾难一停止,他就又硬着心不容以色列人走了。——《时兆》,1880年3月18日。[10]{FH 219.10}
§21 They did so, and a strong west wind arose, which carried away the locusts toward the Red Sea so that not one was left behind. But notwithstanding the king’s humility while death threatened him, as soon as the plague was removed he hardened his heart and again refused to let Israel go.—Signs of the Times, March 18, 1880.?{FH 219.10}[10]
