*These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

*They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

* 约16:3 他们这样行，是因未曾认识父，也未曾认识我。

*And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

* 约16:4 我将这事告诉你们，是叫你们到了时候可以想起我对你们说过了。”“我起先没有将这事告诉你们，因为我与你们同在。

*But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

*But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

*Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

*And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

*Of sin, because they believe not on me;

* 约16:10 为义，是因我往父那里去，你们就不再见我；

*Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

*Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

*I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

*Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

*He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

*All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

* 约16:16 “等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我。”

*A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

*Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

*They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.

*Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

* 约16:20 我实实在在的告诉你们，你们将要痛哭、哀号，世人倒要喜乐；你们将要忧愁，然而你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。

*Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

* 约16:21 妇人生产的时候就忧愁，因为她的时候到了；既生了孩子，就不再记念那苦楚，因为欢喜世上生了一个人。

*A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

* 约16:22 你们现在也是忧愁，但我要再见你们，你们的心就喜乐了；这喜乐也没有人能夺去。

*And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

* 约16:23 到那日，你们什么也就不问我了。我实实在在的告诉你们，你们若向父求什么，他必因我的名赐给你们。

*And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

* 约16:24 向来你们没有奉我的名求什么，如今你们求，就必得着，叫你们的喜乐可以满足。”

*Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

* 约16:25 “这些事，我是用比喻对你们说的；时候将到，我不再用比喻对你们说，乃要将父明明的告诉你们。

*These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

* 约16:26 到那日，你们要奉我的名祈求；我并不对你们说，我要为你们求父。

*At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

* 约16:27 父自己爱你们；因为你们已经爱我，又信我是从父出来的。

*For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
§58
* 约16:28 我从父出来，到了世界；我又离开世界，往父那里去。”

*I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

* 约16:29 门徒说：“如今你是明说，并不用比喻了。

*His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.

* 约16:30 现在我们晓得你凡事都知道，也不用人问你，因此我们信你是从上帝出来的。”

*Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

* 约16:31 耶稣说：“现在你们信吗？

*Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

* 约16:32 看哪，时候将到，且是已经到了，你们要分散，各归自己的地方去，留下我独自一人；其实我不是独自一人，因为有父与我同在。

*Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

* 约16:33 我将这些事告诉你们，是要叫你们在我里面有平安。在世上你们有苦难，但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界。”

*These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
